Janome Signature Charm Easy-to-Use Mechanical Sewing Machine

This is my first Janome machine. I had an old Brother machine. The Janome is wonderful. Sews great.

Easy to use and love the color

I love my new Janome sewing machine! I am new to sewing, with a limited budget. I spent a fair amount of time, months actually researching before purchasing. I got to the point where it was between a Brother sewing machine for around the same price as this Janome, but in the end felt like I was getting more for the dollar with this machine. An important to me feature is that there is a full metal body underneath the plastic. I have been happily sewing away at this machine since getting it and wanted to wait to review until after I had really spent some time on it. I love this little machine. I also love that it was made in Japan rather than China…though I would have bought the Brother machine which is manufactured in China…in short, this Janome sewing machine is easy to use and I absolutely love it!

I decided to do various sewing projects over this summer. From clothing to crafts and teaching grandchildren a bit of sewing. I got so tired of fighting my older Kenmore machine every time I tried to use it over the years and decided to look for a new machine. I found this one and couldn’t be happier. It’s extremely user friendly and believe it will be great for my beginner grandchildren. It has plenty of stitches for the basic seamstress. I highly recommend and so thankful I finally made the decision. As an added benefit it’s well priced.

Excellent machine. Brand new and the box was not opened. Had a really tough time with singer Heavy Duty 4423. They are selling used and broken one's but this Machine is Amazing

Excellent Japanese made in Thailand sewing machine. Heavy duty components, heavy duty plastic body. Can handle heavy fabric including quilting. Easy to use. Love the old style bobbin housing. Great for beginner, awesome for expert.

I bought this for my 5 year old granddaughter for a first machine to learn on. It is a great machine and easy to use. I think she will get years of use out of it.

Pros: Great beginner mechanical machine! Pretty color infused, won't chip. It's easy to get started, threading top %26 bobbin is simple. Con: No anti-tip arm underneath towards back of machine to keep machine braced better. I personally wish there was a little more outer metal available to attach magnetic tools to. Overall, I highly recommend this machine and would repurchase again, if need be.

works fine. does not have a needle threader and I have to raise pressure foot underneath with my right hand. I'm use to it being on the back left. other than that it is a fine machine for the money . I would say it could be for beginners or weekend sewers like me

I was sold a used product that someone else used and got hair all over it was covered in hair and the pedal power cord was wrapped around pedal no bag and the box was opened but the company just stuck a sticker on it saying it wasn’t open but clearly it was so then if this company gonna lie and sell a product that was used and allow it to be sold nasty very disappointed with Janome and I left Singer mistake and im already in a crunch because I need to get things done for the holiday so I can’t turn around and try to return it because I need to use it so I’m kind of stuck keeping the nasty used one, but I will never recommend your company to anybody
