JanSport Big Stundent 17.5" Backpack with Adjustable Shoulder Straps - Electric

I have had several backpacks from Jansport over the years, and I have been thoroughly pleased every time. I have done everything from take the bags overseas on a trip to use them daily for the school year. The quality is always good, and I have never had any issues with anything breaking. With other, more expensive companies, I have had backpack zippers break entirely off and thus render the backpack entirely useless. That has never happened with this company, and I have consistently been pleased. Thank you, Jansport!

I purchased several different brand backpacks for my granddaughter and all had to be replaced because either the zipper broke, straps etc. Exceptionally pleased with Jansport. Holds many binders, books with room to spare. Quality all the way. My 10 year old granddaughter loves pineapples so this was a plus.

This was a replacement for a pack my son had about 2 or 3 years. The seem on one of the straps came undone. JanSport Customer Service is SECOND To NONE!!! I simply went online printed return paperwork, mailed in pack, and they send me a NEW replacement since our old pack couldn't be fixed! I love these packs because they have all the right pockets & storage in all the right places!!

I love this backpack. Since college I have used a Jansport backpack. My original finally needed to be replaced after over 25 years. I got the big student model and took it on a trip the next day. It's even better than my original. It holds so much and is comfortable to carry like my other but it has more pockets for organizing where things go and I love the laptop compartment. It's very durable and I look forward to having it for another 25 years or more.

I have used Jansport backpacks for 10 years! They are quality and strong.. Never ripped or had any holes ! Zipper works like new even a year later!! Can't say enough about Jansport! Please continue making the great fashionable styles... Thank You! Money well spent!

I bought this for my son and it is perfect! It's lightweight but has great features. There is a laptop compartment that he uses for his iPad for school, tons of different compartments for books, folders, lunch box, etc. It also has a water bottle holder that actually keeps his bottle secure.

I'm going to be a senior in high school and i bought this backpack thinking i would need more space than my old one and boy was i right! I have all my school supplies in this including an insane amount of notebooks, chargers, pencils, and other needed things and i will still have plenty of room for my textbooks!! I swear this thing is like Hermoine's bottemless bag. Plus, the pattern i got (diamond plumeria) is super cute and the colors are vibrant but not overwhelming. The only downside is that the straps are a bit stiff but i know that's just because it's a new bag and they need to be broken in. Definitely worth the $50 i paid for it!

I was expecting this to be identical in design to my old Big Student backpack, and did not notice in the description that it now has a laptop compartment built in, and the capacity of the back main compartment is reduced accordingly. I don't have a laptop and I use the bag as a high capacity grocery and etc hauler, on the bus and walkingt. So I was not thrilled by the change. I will give it a try since I may find the laptop compartment is good for having a dedicated place to put things like books and notebooks that otherwise get crushed under my groceries or etc. But considering that high capacity is very important for how I use it, if there was a "normal" Big Student Backpack without the laptop comartment I would have rather had that.

The brand is great and the big student size works wonderfully. Just need to have more boy backpacks, plenty for girls, they have many colors to choice from. Boys have 3 or 4 plus some questionable ones (gender neutral that still look more like they are for girls). Hope to see more color choices overall.

My daughter uses this for her last year of high school and plans on using it in college. Just disappointed that the strap on top broke so quickly. She hasn't even used it a full week. Her last Jan Sport lasted for 3 years. We still love the product and know that it will be replaced. Its just frustrating that it broke that quickly.
