JanSport Right Pack Expressions Backpack

My granddaughter fell in love with the new color and the style. She's a busy girl and goes from school to basketball and softball. It's hard to find a bag that will adapt to all of her needs or at least easy enough to carry along with the rest of her gear. This one provides for the school and basketball needs and is definitely easy for her to carry and find things in. It works great!

Well I found myself buying this backpack because I'm have another one that I have had for over 30 years. And unfortunately it has seen enough wear That the stitching in the bottom pocket has come undone and requires repair. So while I get it repaired at Jansport (For Free) With its lifetime warranty you never have to worry about issue's with any possible failures. I think a few threads failing in the bottom pack is pretty amazing with the use I have had for over 30 years it's speaks for itself.

I bought this for my son who is starting Pre-K this year. It's the perfect backpack to take him all the way through elementary school and farther. The solid color is a great background for buttons, pins, and patches to customize it to his exact preferences. No pushing through crowds every year for the character backpack every kid has to have each year. There's plenty of storage for all his things, including the now required refillable water bottle. Can't wait to see where this backpack takes him.

I had the right back 18 years ago when my mother bought me one and embroidered my name in it. It was navy blue with the leather suede bottom. I got the same exact one and embroidered my name into it and now use it as a camera bag. And have personalized it immensely. The bag last forever and it's great for all uses. I only wish the main compartment had a few smaller pockets in the inside.

This bag is amazing as a usual Jansport are.... The color however was much lighter than anticipated. The leather on bottom was darker than anticipated but overall the kid loved and its perfect for her...I however just anticipated a much richer color even for pastel.

I use the Right Pack for school as teacher. I have hated every other bag, so I decided to try a bookbag. I only buy Jansport for myself and young kids because of the awesome warranty. I had trouble deciding on a color, but ended up googling and searching on social media the colors I liked. I ended up with Mystic Pine because it looked bluish in the pictures I found online. And it is true! It does have a blue tint. My only complaints are that the bag is very stiff and sometimes hard to zip/unzip. I am hoping after time it will soften to perfection. My other complaint is that the straps seems small and they slip off when carried on one shoulder. It can not be used hand free carrying it with one strap. I don't have a need to actually wear it as a backpack yet, but only 1 shouldered. Wish it gripped better for that purpose. Otherwise, it has come in handy during pre-planning and I hope to get many years out of it!

I love the color of bag. I am a junior in high school so I have a lot of books that I have to take home at the end of the day. The bag can handle a lot of books and has a lot more room than expected. One downside is the strap is not very comfortable and smaller than expected.

Everyday I have to carry a three inch binder and while the book bag may look small, it holds a lot. The bottom though gets dirty very fast even when taking care of it. It also does not have the two water bottle pockets in the side that I am used to but inside you have space to put them. Very lightweight and easy to open and use.

I've been using Jansport bags for 25+!years now, so I obviously like them. That said - the quality of the bags has definitely declined over the past several years. The materials and stitchings are thinner/weaker. I still love them but they are not as good as they once were.

We have purchased many JanSport backspacks over the years. The Silver Rose Jacquard fabric ripped at the seam within two weeks. JanSport replaced the backpack promptly. The replacement backpack ripped at the seam within a week. We will try a different fabric next time.
