It has a grip to help position the tip of the fingers, in order to be able to handle it correctly and easily. Both ends of the nail tool have different purposes, but they ensure to have a perfect manicure.

The flat edge gently pushes back your cuticles so you can trim them with a trimmer. I really like how it curves to the shape of my nail surface which prevented slipping. The pointed end works great to clean under your nails and was able to reach deep in the corners with ease. Overall, it was very comfortable to use and constructed to last. I would definitely buy again.
