Putting this together was a nightmare. The holes to screw in several of the legs were covered by the black cloth they stapled on the bottom. Also, the center screw holes were so loose that we had to shove shims down into them to hold the brackets on (that hold the two halves of the futon together). If you're willing to do some modifications while trying to put it together, it's not a bad futon. It is on the small side (just long enough to lay on). The fabric is soft. The seat is a bit small front-to-back, so sitting on it for a short time is okay, but it's not terribly comfortable to sit on for a long time. It's not bad to lay on.
