Great product!! All eyeliner would transfer to the top of my eye lid but this one actually stays put. Even when I wake up the next morning the only problem I have with it is it seems to dry out in the bottle fairly quickly. So it doesn't last very long.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this a while ago and it's actually very good. I'm quite particular about eyeliner and this one is quite nice. The applicator is small and fine so you can either do a nice wide liner or a very fine one when you want to change your look up. It's very black and doesn't smudge easily. No flaking or breaking throughout the day either.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it it's not your regular eye liner this one is great sometimes you need to burn it or sharpen it this one omg it's a heaven sent works Soo well looking for a good liner with less work this one is it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the Jason Wu black eyeliner. It was a felt tip brush applicator which I prefer to do my liner with. It came out very opaque and black but I did notice a little smudging not too long after having it on. It was very easy to hold and apply it to my eye area. I would definitely use this product on a night out!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This liner applies silky smooth. Yet once it dries, it feels like I have applied plastic to my lids. Only after one hour I could feel it cracking. The flaking didn't happen until the 4.5 hour mark. Also, for us older gals, it isn't kind to our fine lines at the corners of our eyes. It bleeds.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Jason Wu Classic Liquid liner in blackest black and it was just okay or average. It goes on smoothly, but the color is thin and requires multiple applications to get the look you want. Then by the end of the day it gets flaky and messy around my eyes. I wish it had better staying power so that is why I only gave it 3 stars.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This eyeliner has the thin, flexible brush I am used to with drug store eyeliners. I found it difficult to apply and the texture of the liner was cakey, though this is true of similar products as well. The color was dark black and that was as expected.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, I was very happy to see the clean ingredients in this liner. It is free of parabens, phthalates, sulfates, fragrance and is vegan. This eyeliner was quick and easy to apply. Initially it would glide on to my eyelid, and looked really good. However, as the day went on I would notice bits of the liner in my eyelashes and the product somewhat flaking off. The consistency of the product hardened throughout the day and at one point I could even peel it off with my finger in pieces. My eye area felt a little weighed down from the product even when I applied it lightly. The appearance of the liner looked good and did stay intact throughout the day. When I applied my setting spray as the finishing touch of my makeup, the liner seemed to “melt” a bit, so I wouldn't recommend using setting spray near it. The liner is also a little stubborn to remove with oil or micellar water.
Other reviewers ranked the eye liner very highly. However, my experience w/the product is that it flaked off after application, it's not waterproof so it did not stay put. 2 stars for being richly pigmented but what does that matter if it doesn't stay put?
Curdled texture leaving clumps of die on the eyelids which are not possible to be removed without smudging. On the second eye it felt like it was finished, i couldn't complete tje second eye witj this liner. Perhaps it was expired - although it wasn't as per the expiry date.
