Bought these to support ECR, Alexander Rossi, and Carmel, IN (a lovely place).
When making use of these, I always mix with 2% milk. This makes for a delicious latte, but as mentioned in the review title, there's room for improvement.
First, it's impossible to determine the caffeine content of these pods anywhere. It's not written on the packaging, and on the website, the "Caffeine Content" drop-down simply reveals a blank space (this seems to only be true of the French Vanilla and Salted Caramel varieties -- the others do show a caffeine content).
Second, despite the appearance of the mixture in the pods, they taste more like vanilla than they do coffee. In my opinion, they could be improved by moving toward the coffee end of the spectrum and away from the sweet end. Perhaps I'll try a different flavor next time.
Third, due to the bias toward sweetness and a lack of concentrated flavor, each pod is intended for mixing with only 8oz (1 cup) of milk/water. This leads to a fairly small morning beverage.
Fourth, definitely shake the pod like Outkast before opening/pouring. Failure to do so leaves a significant amount of mixture adhering to the pod.
Overall, a terrific product that saves me not only time, but from needing to learn anything about coffeemaking. Thanks Java House, and go ECR.
