Jawbone UP3 Smart Band

This fitness tracker set up quickly when I downloaded the app onto my I phone. I really love the Bluetooth feature; my last tracker had to be downloaded manually which was an inconvenience. It charges up very quickly in less than an hour and holds a 7 day charge. This tracker also looks stylish enough that it does not look like a child's bracelet when worn. Delivery was fast and when I compared prices it was very affordable.

I'm excited to see my progress every day. It makes me feel good when I plan/eat a good nutritional meal. There are a lot of food items in the meal area but it's also very easy to add new items that I eat frequently. It pleasantly reminds me to meet my exercise & sleep goals.it syncs with an app on my iPhone & charges quickly! I'm on medicine & it helps me to keep up with my heart rate and sleep for my doctors appointments. love my new Jawbone Up3.

I am going to talk about the cons first bc you need to know before you buy. First, if color is important to you, pick your color. Thus band does have discoloration. Its not bad for me or a deal breaker. I am super cheap so I saved a lot buying the sand band. Second, others mentioned that the clasp gets caught on things. When I first put it on, it caught my hair in the shower. However, I watched a video on youtube and I simply had it on the wrong way. If you wear it on your left wrist, the clasp should be on the left. It helped and doesnt get caught as much. Third, it is splash proof so you have to take it off if you swim. I knew this by reading the specs before purchase and it wasnt a dealbreaker. Lastly, I hate that it doesn't register activity when I am on the stair machine. The one I use has you hold onto the heart tracker so I am not moving my arms. So I just have to manually input the exercise. I call it cardio. Pros, I really like the color and it pairs well since its not a dark or vivid color. Plus I saved a lot selecting this one. Irs a fitness tracker, therefore I just need it to babysit me for the most part. I don't think it is a bad tracker and I dont need to pay for things through my tracker which imo a dumb addition. I jyst need something to motivate me and give me some data to make me feel like I am making the right step toward fitness. I read that 10000 steps is for maintaing weight so I added more in my goal. I dont think I can commit to 20k but I can hit 15k just buy moving more in the office and being more active after work too. I run in the morning so it gets me close to 10k. The rest adds up.

I really enjoy this product. I mainly got it to track my sleep, as it is more advanced than others, but also to keep track of my daily steps. The only thing I don't like about it is the fact that there's no watch to be able to tell the time. Didn't realize how much I would miss that one small feature! Otherwise, great product.

Easy to get set up with the app and start using it. Does not read heart rate all the time but records sleep pattern pretty accurately. Step counter seems to be recording higher number than I think it would be. Haven't used any other additional features.

I received it, but it does not work. I spent 2 days reading all the articles from Jawbone website but nothing worked, no lights and no modes and no pairing once it removed from the charger with full battery. I contacted Jawbone support and they told me that this UP3 must be defective, but they would NOT honor the Warranty because this seller in Walmart, TECHRABBIT is NOT an authorized retailer. So, beware of these facts when you decide to buy it.

Software is great. Hardware is pathetic. Six months and waiting 45 days for replacement so far. Check the Better Business Bureau before buying.

Battery didn't hold a charge. I read online this is common as they are no longer made so vendors are just clearing out old stock. The vendor took back the device and paid for shipping so that's a plus. Still waiting for a refund though.

Set up did not work (only one of 3 lights came on). I e-mail company (Tech Rabbit) for a return label. They did not get back to me. Stay away.
