Great trap
The trap works well. Unfortunately the one I purchased doesn't open correctly when you go to set it, but I figured out how to use a stick to open it. Once it's set, it works great!

NOT A RAT TRAP!
Buyer beware. If you're looking for a RAT trap (not a regular sized mouse trap), this is not it. This is a normal sized moused trap, and not at all a good value for the price. I paid more because I thought this was the larger size for chipmunks, etc.

Wrong size, for mice not rats.
What I got was not right. It's NOT for a rat! It is for mice only, it's size is to small and snap is to weak for a rat. I returned it for and used a larger different brand.

Received 2" x 4.25" mouse traps not rat traps (3.5" x 5.7/8"). Item was not in a package as shown; just in a shipping envelope.
