The speaker is loud enough for outdoor use and great in the shower. My son hangs it from the rod and plays his music while showering. We used it at my other son's graduation party and it worked well. It was loud enough to hear across the yard. Works amazingly. The battery life is great as well.

Perfect little speaker for great price. I had a JBL Flip for 8 years and I loved it. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. The battery would no longer hold a charge, which put me in the market for a new speaker. I use my JBL at the beach and in the bathroom and this little gem is perfect. I can hang it out of the way. The sound quality is great with good bass sounds. The price was just right. I'm very pleased with this purchase and hope it lasts as long as my previous JBL.

It is super cute with the color I clip it to my purse and the sound is nice doesn't sound distorted or anything. I highly recommend especially because you can pair it with more jbl clip 5s and have all around surround sound.

I work in transportation, clip5 and my phone are tools I use daily in vehicles without functional radios or other players. For its size clip5 puts out some powerful bass clear with no instability or vibrations. JBL sound quality is excellent loud or soft. And the “clip” is easy to use to hang it from all kinds of spots in a vehicle. Its simply a thoughfully designed speaker for anyone. I bought one for myself and a friend and we both love it, would buy it again, and 200% recommend it to others!

Battery didn't last more than 15 minutes. My last JBL clip had great battery life and lasted years. I also recommend checking to make sure the item you are buying is shipped and sold by Walmart or if sold by a third party it's shipped by Walmart. I will not make the mistake of buying from a marketplace seller and fulfilled by the seller again because if you have a return Walmart customer service will tell you they can't help. But your return has to be dropped off in store for the store to return ship the item.
