I bought 2 of these recently after lots of research (as usual) and having more than enough experience in the industry since the late 80's, this was a bit of a no brainer. In a nutshell this is one of those products that you'll be glad you bought now and even years from now. I love the quality, versatility, portability, features and parameter controls which are unmatched at this price point let alone even even higher. It does and performs as expected, with great sound quality and dispersion, even beyond which is nice. I can take it anywhere literally and be good to go on battery for more time than required. The wireless Pro Connect is great although it is still evolving I'm sure JBL will keep refining it further. Would've been nice to have a slip cover included or one to purchase at least. Also a Stereo link for BT to use 2 units as L&R respectively would be great. (Stereo steering is important for panoramic effects or sounds in the music.) Overall very pleased and actually and surprised at what JBL have achieved, amazing really. No it won't blow your head of but its output is amazingly useable all the way to max volume which is fantastic and it keeps its composure when you need to push it that little bit more. Sub is nice and deep not too punchy but controlled at all times, no distortion heard even with the lowest notes or frequencies so far. I hope it is reliable like my older JBL EON 10's which have never let me down. I've owned basically every major brand sizes and systems, from DJ events to Live Rock band events and them some when it comes to powered PA and this is a STAND OUT product right now in 2022 particularly in its respective category. Get one or a couple while you can. Nothing else will come close as a total all in one package for musos of DJ or just as a multipurpose PA. Great job JBL, keep it up! Thank you!

So I have owned this speaker for a month now. I recently purchased it to host parties with about 100 - 150 People. This is definitely a professional speaker and not just a party speaker. The sound quality is perfect even at max power. It is much louder than the soundbox 3 and 2 which I also own. I will be purchasing another one!

I've had this for over a year, I have many JBL speakers for every occasion, different sizes, the battery doesn't last long and an extra one is very expensive but you can buy a small Power station for less money and use it all night even better with the power of feeling connected to the current.

I've been a audiophile and mobile dj for the last 20 years. I have never had a speaker this amazing! The App is a great way to tune The 8 tweeters in the top column that provide a crystal clear high definition sound desperation. It's paired with a enclosed 10" subwoofer that pushes air like no other cabinet that I've owned. Its class leading 1500 peak watts 400 watt rms power is more than enough for indoor and outdoor activities/ performances. It's lightweight and power is unrivaled with a battery just incase you have no AC power. This product is the definition of JBL professional products!

I bought the JBL Eon Mk2 a few months ago for use at my solo acoustic gigs at small venues and private events. I bought the unit and the cover and cart for transport. I've used this system for half a dozen gigs since. Its my sole PA system I use for my performances. Pro's: 1500 Watts gives great volume 5 input channels (one is bluetooth audio only) suitable for solo performers or duo's. I run 2 mics and a guitar plus bluetooth audio to play during breaks. Battery powered. Works great unplugged form power. A little less volume but Ive done a 3 hr gig without power. 5 channel mixer. Basic mixer, EQ and effects built in across 5 channels. Ipad app for remote system control. Mute channels, adjust gain and EQ settings from the back of the room. Column elements slide into the woofer unit for an all in one carry unit. Cons: Its portable but its a decent size box. The carry bag and cart are necessary as its heavy to carry far. The iPad app controls are not very accurate. It is near impossible even with a stylus to adjust a gain or other setting by 1db increments It can jump 10-20 db with a touch. Using the dials on the woofer are best. Over all I'm happy. 4 stars

I've had this speaker for a while now and it's just not a great purchase. I own many other jbl products and have been very happy with them, however this one is a miss for me. Out of the box it wouldn't power on so I had to send it cross country on my dime to get the power switch replaced under warranty. Once I got it back I discovered the Bluetooth was spotty at best to the point where I'm uncomfortable using it for any professional purposes. It has less coverage than my Bose s1 pro provides at the same price point and the mic or amps seem to be pretty cheap. If your running a weird speaker, plan on running it through an external mixer to get an appropriate volume out of it. Maybe this is fine for a poolside casual speaker, but skip this one for professional use. For reference I also have the battery powered jbl eon one pro, which I really like and use for wedding ceremonies weekly.

Bought the 28th of May, 2022, used twice in small room shows, mics only - low volume. 3rd time, as bluetooth was connecting, it gave a small static pop and died. Totally and inexplicably. 56 days of ownership and about 5 hrs of light use. DO NOT BUY -Ever, for any readon.
