I've bought many of these headphones over time. I've had a few dud sets that didn't work well (a few that got eaten by my dogs-(thanks Ozzy, Kylo, Coco and Izzy )) but because I know that they're mostly great quality and fantastic sound I buy them again and again! I've never regretted a purchase and I've had a lot of headphones from every type of skullcandy and a few sets of Beats, wired, wireless and too many other brands but nothing compares to JBL! I highly recommend these headphones! Ozzy Zildjian Pawsborne Prince of Barkness loves them!
I bought these mainly for light listening duty that I do on my laptop or phone when I don't want to pull out my hi fi headphones. Also for use when making calls and traveling. I'm already a JBL fan owning high end JBL Synthesis products. These are remarkable little value earbuds in my opinion - I don't really like earbuds generally but recognize them as a necessary evil of modern playback and devices, but these are actually remarkably comfortable (with the right tips in) and the sounds is seemingly quiet neutral, reasonable 'soundstage' and spacing for in ear headphones, detailed but not harsh, musical, reasonably efficient, dynamic! etc. Well done JBL As a high end aficionado, I actually can live with these quiet happily for what I need from them. Excellent all around with one small exception, the fabric that covers most of the cable and reduces microphony (one thing I HATE from earbuds) doesn't go all the way up - the exposed rubber portion closes to the ear buds causes some stethoscope effect sadly.
I recently got this in-ear headphones and so far i am very impress! they sound a lot better than UrBeats! I have yet to test out the durability on this, but it looks like it will last a while till it breaks. definitely recommended ! It is just too good to be true for its price! One thing i would like for the next generation, would have wished the rest of the wires was also reinforced, like braided as the rest of the wire. But so far, fantastic headphones! (in-ear!)
I already have these in blue and wanted to get them in black as well. The audio quality is really good on these, the clarity is notch above the JBL E15's in my opinion. The highs and especially the mids all have an added presence that makes music sound more realistic, bass on the other hand seems to be about equal if maybe a hair better which I'm fine with since the E15's had plenty of low end. The other thing I noticed was how well these respond to better a DAC. These go from sounding good to WOW do these sound good! They don't sound overpowered like so many earbuds tend to do when they're fed a more powerful audio signal. Other little things I like is the button control. Its a nice finished, well thought out button instead of looking like a cheap add-on, it works and feels clicky yet smooth if that makes sense. The included carry pouch is also made from a durable fabric material instead of a fake leatherette or thin fabric. Also the packaging is also pretty impressive to as it does a great job of displaying the product before you actually open it. So overall these are really good and worth the price, I'm really happy that JBL continues to make wired earbuds, I find bluetooth earbuds to be clunky and bulky for what they are.
I bought this an hour ago and it has really wowed me after playing my first song.
I bought late October and it was working great... until about 2 weeks later when by accident I dropped my iPad with the headphones plugged in. No, it didn't fall while I was standing up. I was lying down on the sofa using my iPad when I lost my grip. When I picked it up, I was more worried about my iPad screen and didn't even imagine my new Hartman headphones would break. It wasn't until I picked up my iPad and started playing my video when noticed audio was only coming from one ear. Sigh. So so so disappointed . You'v been warned!
I saw many reviews and then I bought this. But it went wrong. Within a year the headset wire damaged. look into the attached pictures.
Bought this as a Christmas gift and they didn't even last a day. The aux part snapped right off first time using and now they're trash.
I just received my red JBL Live 100 headphones, and only the right side works. NOTHING COME OUT FROM THE LEFT SIDE! I'm so disappointed right now.
I bought these live100 2 weeks ago, it was so junky that the earbuds ripped!!! (But after all, the sound was amazing)
