JBL Live 780NC - Wireless over-ear Noise Cancelling headphones - Blue

I am using these headphones for about 3 weeks now and i'm very satisfied with them. First of all the music quality is very good in my opinion. I have a very broad music taste, but listening to my spotify list or my personal music collection i haven't had any case where the music quality disappointed me. Second the battery life is excellent. And finally, what counts most for me, is the noise cancelling. I find it very good. It is really silent with the headphones on your head and it has already given me a lot of pleasure when i was in noisy environments.

I was looking for a pair of headphones to use during my long editing hours. The one I have (JBL too) are great but hurt my ears after a few hours. These are perfect. The sound is clear, bass are deep and the comfort is super. Noise reduction works perfectly. Gestures could be more precise but I usually use laptop controls so I don't care too much.

The first charge lasted the entire month with moderate use during the week (1 hour) and heavy use on the weekend (over 4 hours). The sound can be adjusted using multiple settings in the app, and with just a few taps, you can find the optimal settings for your hearing. The rubber and foam headband provides an excellent fit, although when playing sports or doing activities that involve sweat, they tend to slip a bit due to their (not insignificant) weight, but that's also how good the quality is. A negative is the excessive sensitivity when stopping playback when you touch the edges of the earcups (for example, when repositioning them); another point that could be improved is the position of the ANC mode button; you risk inadvertently pressing it when trying to reposition the headphones. With ANC mode enabled, when you're outside, the wind's action on the leatherette earcups is amplified, significantly impacting your listening experience. The noise canceling is excellent. It takes some practice with the gestures, as the action area is very large across the entire outside of the earcup, so you have to touch the right spot to activate it. However, after a while, you get used to it and find the right operation. The price is high, but considering the overall listening and usage experience, it's acceptable.

The JBL Live 780NC delivers great sound quality with clear vocals and deep bass. Music sounds enjoyable across different genres, and the headphones are comfortable enough for long listening sessions. The JBL Headphones app is easy to use and offers useful customization options. The active noise cancelling works well in busy environments, although I can hear a slight hiss when ANC is enabled in quiet rooms. Another small drawback is that switching between noise cancelling and transparency mode takes a few seconds longer than expected. Despite these minor issues, the battery life, comfort, and sound quality make the JBL Live 780NC a very good choice.

They also feature active noise cancellation, with the ability to adjust the amount of "ambient noise" filtered through the headphones. The Bluetooth 5.3 connection is stable even over long distances, ensuring a stable connection without dropouts or issues. Finally, let's talk about battery life: even with active noise cancellation, the headphones guarantee at least 60 hours of use, allowing you to use them without worrying too much about charging.

Bought this as a gift for my son's birthday and he loves them. They are a perfect fit so really comfortable. He likes how they automatically turn off when he pushes one side off his ear. He loves how it changes from the ambient setting to noise cancelling setting. Would recommend.

First up, maybe most important, the sound, it delivers. Nice and full, with plenty of bass (maybe a bit too much at times). For pop, hip-hop, and everyday listening it just works really well. I also use it for podcasts and that comes through clearly, not sharp or annoying. The noise cancelling is decent. It's amazing, but on the train or in the office it makes a difference. It does a good job with low background rumble, though sharper noises still come through a bit. Which is a shame. What I really like is the comfort. I tried in ear, on ear and this beats those in comfort. Not that weird, because this is over ear and has lots of padding. I've worn it for a hours straight without it getting uncomfortable. It does get a bit warm, but that's expected. Battery life is a strong point, you don't have to think about it. Just charge it every now and then and it's good for days. Downside, if I have a good think, it doesn't feel super premium. More practical than luxurious. And the app is fine, but honestly I barely use it. It is just want a solid all-round headphone without too much fuss. So maybe it is a bit expensive for what you get, but I am happy with it.
