JBL Professional EON ONE Compact All-in-One Rechargeable Personal PA - Black

I was so excited when I received my JBL compact I immediately unpacked it and hooked it up. What happened when I first started playing was disappointing. .With the volume and gain only 2/3 up, the speaker started to clip. I was about to return it but I decided to upgrade the firmware Good God it worked so great afterwards I could really crank up the volume with no distortion and no clipping. My suggestion after you receive your speaker(s) is up update the latest firmware from JBL. IMPORTANT Also, use the JBL Pro Connect, not JBL Compact Connect to fine tune EQ and other settings.

Not "audiophile" quality amplification or distortion, but, VERY good sound for the size. NO other battery powered system has the features and ability of this system. Ither battery systems may be louder, but none better. The 8" drivers are 100% maxed out. Would be nice to have a larger cube version with a bugger battery 12" bass, and true mid range and tweeter hardware. DO NOT expect stage audio dB levels or sound booth quality. For the money, these are the tops.

I'll admit that it first didn't meet my expectations having read so many 5-star reviews...however as soon as I became more familiar with sound adjustments (especially using the app), its everything I expectedly and more. I'm using the JBL compact to Bluetooth Karaoke music from my phone while singing using a Sure mic that requires phantom power. The quality of the blend is impressive!

I got my Eononecompact a couple weeks ago and it impresses me every time I use it. The mixer is easy to use, the output is impressive for such a small package, and the battery seems to last forever. Highly recommend

My boyfriends a dj and he needed new speakers . I bought him one to try it out and it sounds like he has more than one speaker ! Great quality and sound ordering another this week !! Thanks Jbl

I bought the JBL one compact two weeks ago and so far I love it. The sound is so clear and loud. Did not come with the manual so I had to download online. It took me awhile to get used to the app.

Compact and perfect for wedding ceremonies located away from the reception.

I unboxed the system and was impressed by its features and fairly lightweight. I plugged it in and the green power button lit up but went out but the system's front power light stayed on. I noticed the battery was also charging and I plugged in both my portable CD player to play [I]Skaggs & Rice[/I], and my Yamaha LL-TA TransAcoustic. I adjusted the various knobs and heard a really good amplification of the CD's music and also of my Yamaha LL-TA's guitar tone. No problems with the tone and volume of this JBL system's amplification process! The problem was that I couldn't power-off the speaker as the Power Button didn't do anything. Also, unplugging the JBL just switched the unit to its battery-power mode which of course with a defective Power Button couldn't be switched off either. I left the system, as is, overnight, and looking at it this morning reveals that everything is now off and can't be turned back on! I'm going to peruse the JBL website for any Troubleshooting information that may be available but at this time it looks like I'll ship the JBL EON ONE Compact back to Sweetwater for a refund or exchange. I'm not sure, however, if I want another JBL Compact as this first one isn't inspiring any confidence in the initial units being sold.

Trash. I bought one of these a little over a year ago and it's been nothing but problems. Sometimes all it would do is crackle. Now, 13 months later, this speaker doesn't even work. And documentation will not help you at all. Spend your money somewhere else. I'm a DJ, been doing this for a long time. Trust me. This speaker freaking sucks
