I wanted a soft baby doll that looks like a real baby for my granddaughter's 1st birthday. Nothing available in the stores was appropriate and safe for such a young child. I remembered purchasing toys for my daycare from Kaplans years ago, before I retired, and I found the perfect doll. She loves it and carries it every where. I find it interesting that when she can choose between the baby doll or her rag doll that looks like a cartoon character, she always reaches for the baby doll. I like that it is the perfect size for a young toddler and is safe for a child that still puts everything in her mouth. The price was also much better than anything the toy stores had to offer.

These baby dolls are the perfect size for our children to play with. Most other dolls are too big for their little arms. They love these!

The doll had a different outfit on and also its a male doll instead of female doll as I ordered. I ordered a female with a pink two piece clothing. Received a male doll with a one piece purple clothing. I contacted the company Kaplan Early Learning Company customer service and express my concern and was told, there is no guarantee that the doll will be as the picture on the web site, "The order number says African America doll so you don't know what you will receive whether you ordered male or female". I, feel the company should state that so customer won't be disappointed with order. There is no information on how to return and again the customer service representative gave some weird thing I needed to do, "just write gym by their address and she would look for the marking then they would contact Walmart.
