The dealing is great, the shuffling is mediocre. You only get one shuffle and it's a very basic alternating pattern. It jams occasionally and I learned to hold the cards to feed them evenly. Card games that collect similar cards together require you to hand shuffle before inserting into the machine to get a more random deck.
