Works as described.
So far, a good little pump. Read the product description and you will not be disappointed. If you need more vertical lift get a bigger variety. I am getting abt 6 ft (roughly) using a 1/2 inch hose which is what I needed.

I wished that they had a better method of trapping the grass clippings. I struggle daily to clean the pump and as a handicapped senior, it is a difficult task..

Worst pump I have ever purchased! It moves maybe a gallon of water per hour. Complete rip-off.
