Jeco Wicker Patio Storage Deck Box in Black

Very awesome unit and easy to assemble. Puts out good heat. Exactly what we were expecting!

I have black wicker porch furniture and this goes nicely with the set. It was easy to put together. It doesn't look like it will hold anything heavy and I would not use it as extra seating. It will hold some outdoor pillows, extension cords, some green egg parts, etc.

It is an excellent storage bin which is medium sized, well constructed and great for the patio.

I use it to store my pellets for my pellet stove, I also store tiki torch oil in it and a few other items. It seems to be sturdy - the metal frame adds good structure to it. The only negative I have is that I ordered the white one and when I pulled it out of it's box (on the day it arrived) it had rust stains in several places on it. These were not easy to remove - I had to use Mr. Clean Magic Erasers to remove it.

It is a very nice storage chest but the wholes were drilled crooked. So it doesn't fit together right.my husband had to twist it to make the lid fit on straight.

This is a good value, as most deck boxes that are waterproof are really expensive. It is modern looking with wicker texture. I am storing towels and toys. It's probably not strong enough to sit on, has gaps between the sides, the bottom has no liner, and dust will definitely seep in, as well as not being waterproof. The lid doesn't open all the way so be careful that it doesn't fall down on your hand or head. However, I plan to cover it with a waterproof patio furniture cover in rain and winter. This is for Southern California's year-round climate. It was easy to put together.

I was so excited when I discovered that I could order this storage deck in a honey colored finish instead of just dark brown or white. To my disappointment the only part of the unit that was truly honey colored was the painted metal inside the unit. The actual color of the woven plastic is a two-tone brown. The unit itself is nicely constructed and went together easily. I do not yet know how 'weather proof' it is. I am hoping that once I am finished painting my deck furniture that the two-tone color will blend in better with my deck color scheme.

I purchased this but unfortunately had to return it. When it was delivered the assembly kit was open and several parts were lost. I called Hayneedle they ordered it but I guess the manufacturer didn't see that it was a priority for me to get the parts so that I could assemble it. So I returned it. Hayneedle did everything correct it was the manufacturer who didn't seem to want to rush me the screws needed.

Expensive for a poorly made unit that uses cheap materials

Ordered this storage box to store our outdoor furniture covers in, when not in use. Box was kept on our deck, out in the open (not in the shade). Assembly was easy and there was plenty of room in the box. At approximately 7 months in use, the vinyl wicker material started to crack and break apart. In short order, the box was completely unusable. Hayneedle goods are generally well made and last. This product fell woefully short of this grade. In addition, returns and warranties are only for 30 days so their customer service rep could not offer any assistance.
