1968 Chevelle SS
I have a 68 SS with a turbo 400 - this dipstick hit the tunnel and was not a good fit. In the end I switched to a flexible braided version that was much easier to manage and fit perfect. I would not recommend this dipstick unless you have ample clearance with your tunnel. It may be that the 68 SS body is just not a good fit for this unit and it may work fine in other applications. The quality of the piece was fine, just didn't fit.

Not even close to factory replacement
This dipstick tube has poor bends sticks way out from transmission. Better hope you have 2 inches of clearance from fire wall . And it is cut way to short. You have to move your plug wires and reach in behind the intack to get the locking dipstick.
