Very comfortable safe belts

Jannie December 10, 2025

When my husband redid the 38 chevy last year he pain stakingly installed these belts for the driver and passenger. However he pushed the driver buckle into the seat. Since he never wore his I never thought about mine. Last week we got in and as we were going down the road i asked if the belts worked and was it ok to wear mine. He said that was why he installed them. So i went ahead and buckled up. It felt safe and comfortable

These belts really click

Tommy January 3, 2026

I am an amateur restoration and classic car enthusiast. Typically as i redoe a car i makes everything look perfect and performs lots of subtle upgrades. Most of our cars are classics that were built without seatbelts so it is not uncommon to ride unrestrained. I typically install safety belts when i do interior work. On the 62 dodge put retractable 3 point belts in the front and rear but a blanket was over the seat in the rear covering the female end so you forgot they are there. Last week my daughter and i took it to pick the wife up From work. The wife hopped in the back and pulled out the the male end of the belt. When she realized the other end was not out she quickly gave up and leaned over the front seat. However as we got on the highway she mentioned how fast we were going and sat back and pulled the female end of the belt out and buckled up. She mentioned The belt was very smooth operating and comfortable. so comfortable she forgot she had it on when she went to get out lol

Economic and functional

Billy the kid January 22, 2025

Our last street rod had basic lap belts that laid on the seat. This time i opted for retractable 3 point belts. The wide always buckled up before because she would sit on the belt. In our new car the wife never forgets because of the obnoxious dinging. However in the new rod she remembers about 50% of the time because the belts are neatly out of the way. I will say they work gemreat when you fasten them.

Finally Found Some that the buckle wasn't backward

Pdanger August 12, 2025

I had ordered 3 other sets of seatbelts and all of them had the buckle part backwards. Where the belt would be twisted across your chest when you buckled it. First set to be correct like the OEM. Ordering another set for my rear seats.

Look good and work great

Uncle greg March 28, 2022

When I the interior done on the 41 gmc cab over roll back my upholstery guy talked me into these 3 point belts for the bucket seats. When i got the truck back I noticed the belts looked good and stayed out of the way. The wife and I never bothered with them Since we hadn't previously worn belts in the truck. Last week we went to get a friends car. I drove out and the wife was driving back. After we loaded up we started back. A few miles in at a stop light I noticed the wife fumbling around and then heard the distinct click of the seat belt. I saked her what that was all about. She shrugged and said isn't that why they are here. I told her “I guess”. Not 10 minutes later a tire blew out and we were all over the road. I ended ip on the floor and thankfully she was still incontroll behind the wheel. After we got the tire replaced we both belted up. That was the first time i ever wore the belt in the truck. They were comfortable and felt very safe glad they got installed.

Get it together… buckle up

Johnnie July 21, 2022

I installed a pair of these in the frond of the 1948 ford last year. However never once were they used until last week. The buckles ended up behind the seat and the belts neatly on the b pillar. After my wife saw the video of the comet losing its brakes We both decided it was time to Start wearing our belts. They are simple to install and we both think they are very comfortable. Hope to never test them

Please stay in your seat

Jordan 2 October 27, 2022

We needed a seatbelt to belt our son into his booster seat in the rear of the 1958 nomad. My wife found this one on sale. We ended up getting two one for each outboard rear seat. it was very easy to Install i ended up reinforcing the c pillar and mounting the upper mount there. The car has lap belts up front and my wife insists they are very unsafe and will not use them. Last week my wife hopped in the back to let my father in law ride up front. As she did she complained about the buckle under her. I assumed she was just going to pull it out but she ended up buckling up instead and mentioned she had wanted to try the belts out ever since I installed it. She was impressed with how well it kept her in place (she made me panic stop-as a test). She was so impressed she bought two more for the front seat.

Front 3 point belts

CTYJ1990 August 19, 2021

Good product. I used for a 90 Jeep YJ. Had to buy an adapter so the female side would reach past the console to the seat to buckle. Safety catches are really sensitive and annoying that they lock so easily. Hopefully they get better as they are used. Other than that they seem to be similar to OE quality

Not remotely universal, button different color

maximum June 27, 2025

If you're going to call something universal, why not design it for a wider range of installs? There's no way to get the buckle past the end to flip it over, so for my vehicle had to install it with the buckle upside down. The nubs on the little black plastic trim piece broke off the first time I tried to use it. I could have made the install cleaner if I drilled out the smaller hole on the swivel piece but not sure if that would remove temper/affect safety. Also, not a big deal but button was black, not red.
