Self powered timing light
Great tool. Used it on our 1931 Ford Model A with a 6 volt electrical system to set the timing. Very easy to see the timing marks with it being self powered.

well made timing light
I have always had great service with these battery powered timing lights. The only problem I ever have is leaving the pick-up on too close to # 1 spark plug and header tube while running engine on dyno. Plastic pick-up does not like the heat.

Junk
Very low quality timing light. Wish I never bought it for my one time use. Very dim flash, so bad you can't really even see it or the numbers. Don't buy it!
