used it to rase my tractor seat worked grate
Perfect. Just what i needed.
I have a friend who recommended these to me, along with the race seats that I purchased. He builds high end street/strip and drag cars for people so I went home and ordered them for my project. I have not installed them yet but if he says there good then that's all I need. And there great quality for the price for a budget racer.
The brackets are good quality, with lock-nut hardware. Pre-drilled holes would be a nice feature. Custom holes are required to be drilled by the customer. The adjustments work good.
I ended up returning this and went with a team z aluminum.mount for about the same price. this one was quite heavy but solid, just didn't work out with the planned poly seat which require extra brackets and would.place.the seat way too high in my foxbody .
Thin and light duty. Holes do not line up well for an angled application. Better off making your own
Although these appear to be a great deal, I would not trust them to be safe in a crash. Very thin metal and super small 1/4" bolts. Get something beefier. I'll just use them for a shelf bracket or something.
Would work really well if your floor pans are flat. Since my iroc doesn't have flat floors these won't work without custom modifications. Also I wish they would of had the holes in the mounts already to mount to the floor other then that they are a great product.
Very flimsy could hold my weight of 170 pounds with a lightweight plastic race seat. Dont buy it!
the sheet metal with holes is okay. not much could be wrong with that part... but the locking nuts that come with this bracket assembly is HORRIBLE. i can't imagine how many pennies jegs saved by using this hardware instead of decent nylock nuts, but they really passed the buck with this stuff. it literally feels like you're crossthreading these things. no combination of socket/deep socket/box end/ open end/breaker bar made these nuts easy to install. constant struggle and slipping trying to tighten these awful nuts.
