JEGS Steel Engine Lift Plate [Universal]

Before I put this on my Mopar 340 I realized that there was a bunch of holes that would allow items to fall into my intake if left open. It was an easy fix with a few inches of duct tape applied to the underside. Because if there is a way, you know some danged 10-24 nut will fall in there in a one in a million chance from across the room.

It was a good investment. Have been wanting one for awhile. Just what I needed for my engine removal and replace. The only thing it needed was the bolts to go with the plate

Hung a Chevy 350 vortec head engine and TH350 on it and no problems. It’s sturdy. I used better grade 8 bolts. Not a worry using this.

It lifted my 350 motor and 350 turbo trans together with no problem. The welds are fine ignore the bad review!!!

Had some initial doubts about the lifting capability but it really surprised me during operation. Welds are very well executed.

Fit as expected. Was concerned if this would work on my 327 block, all holes aligned and the bolts supplied also were correct!

Engine plate mount right up to my Weiand intake manifold and engine hoist lifted complete engine from boat with no problems. Worked just as needed.

I have yet to ever have any issues with any product from JEGS

Already used this to pull 2 motors and worked great. The welds could definitely be better but that was an easy fix

Welds are horrible, barely even holding the 2 pieces together. I wouldn’t trust it to lift half the weight as advertised. Will work fine after I run a few good beads on it. Gave it 2 stars because it actually fits on the manifold well so it at least has that going for it.
