People are usually not Butterscotch fans...I'm NOT one of them! I've always enjoyed butterscotch flavor especially in pudding. It's very nostalgic and reminds me of school day lunches. As an adult, sugar intake has been lowered and these zero sugar pudding are a great treat.
If made with skim milk, it's very low calorie. Added chopped almonds or walnuts make it extra nutritious. Instant mix, no cooking required. Just whip with a hand eggbeater %26 add chopped nuts after mix thickens. Then pour into individual serving cups. Makes 4 delicious servings. Store in fridge until ready to serve.
I know this product has been out for years, but sugar-free and Butterscotch in the same product is crazy to think about, especially when it has good calories and amazing taste.
Excellent dessert without the guilt. Very nice butterscotch flavor, not just a hint of flavor or too strong. As Goldielocks said, "Just right". Used it just as pudding, not the pie filling option. You can use the pie recipe if you like even thicker pudding.
It's been so many years since I have had a cooked pudding I can't compare the instant and cooked. The zero sugar instant is fine by me. Lower in calories and ready in a few minutes. There are many flavors and I like them all. One note is that Walmart has Great Value sugar free instant pudding which is cheaper but comes in fewer flavors. The French Vanilla flavor is well worth a try.
No difference to me between sugar free and regular jello pudding! Has fulfilled cravings for high calorie snacks!!
I love butterscotch, so the bar is high. This doesn't quite do it for me taste wise, but for a zero sugar instant pudding it's pretty good. I ordered too many boxes of vanilla pudding, which we don't make usually, but mixed with the butterscotch, it's an interesting twist. No plain blah vanilla taste and no artificial butterscotch taste. Just a very pleasant pudding. Of course you will have leftovers, but that's not a bad thing. All in all, the price is good, the texture is good, it's quick and easy, and it tastes good. My adul kids like it as is, so it's a win. If you're picky like me, mix it with the vanilla, and be surprised. It won't mask the butterscotch, but it enhances it. If you're not picky, eat it as is. It's a bargain, whatever you do with it. I like puddingyear round, but I like it best in the summer.
Can we please use something different than aspartame?? many companies have replaced it with stevia or Splenda. why make your customers sick over time ? I would certainly be willing to pay the difference
Was super overcharged paid 5.97 for 1.50 priced at Walmart item They have you believing you were shopping on Walmart net work and you are not these are independent people selling these items price gouging
I didn't taste it as the whole order put a sour taste in my mouth. I ordered a 4 pk of these and received 1 at the tune of almost $7. And that was with free shipping. Ridiculous. Won't be buying this product again from this company because either they deliberately did it or it was careless packing. Either way I'm the one who ends up paying for it. Thanks but no thanks. Do better.
