I always like this turkey ground 93% but unfortunately I can't buy it too much anymore because the prices are going up so high so maybe when the prices go down I'll continue to buy it because I really do like making fresh turkey burgers all the time.

When buying ground turkey, Jenny-O is great. Instead of ground beef, choose turkey. It's better for you. Of course the turkeys will definitely say to eat beef. And the cows will agree with me, to eat turkey. But seriously, this is the best turkey brand.

The smell is also a nice natural scent rather than harsh chemicals, though can be strong if you have to use a lot!

Very good quality product, I buy 1 to 3 pks of 3lbs every month. It is very easy to prepare and it's loaded with protein, goes well with a large side of veggies at any meal. In a 10"dia X 3" deep 3Qt casserole, I sauté 2 or 3lbs of ground turkey, soft/defrosted: 1 medium bay leaf, 3tblspoon olive oil, 1 lrg red onions, chopped thick, 1 teaspoon of tarragon (fresh or dried), 1 teaspoon ground oregano to taste, 2teaspoons ground garlic, 1tspoon of ground cumin, also add paprika to your like, and add at this point of cooking, just add 2tablespoons of a good brand of Worcestershire sauce. Lastly, If you like hot pepper, use the white ground pepper, to your taste. (White pepper is healthier than black pepper-- no skin to get attached to the walls of one's guts causing polyps!) Cook it on medium-to-low heat, covered for the first half hour, if gets dry, add half cup of warm water, keep on low heat, let it cook for another half hour and stirring it occasionally not to burn. It's good to keep some juice at the bottom of the pot, so, add water if needed during cooking, but just little, a quarter of a cup at each time. Ground turkey is best if very well cooked, and goes well along your favorite veggie side dish, don't hurry, watch to not get it dry and or get it burned. Use salt with cautious, to your taste. (In fact, the W-Sauce already contain some salt from the anchovy's paste ingredient in it, so, go easy when adding salt. Also, as a warning to the ones allergic to fish, anchovy is fish!) Enjoy !

This product is great. I recommend it time and time again. I specifically use it for my son‘s white baseball pants. I've been using this since he was little. He's now playing high school ball and those pants get so dirty. You would think they'll never turn white, but this product does the magic! You just have to soak them overnight or even 24 hours if possible

For those who worry about consuming too much red meat. I make my children ground taco meat and various other things out of it, and they can never tell us not beef. Ground turkey is always at a low price at Walmart. We are all getting enough protein thanks about meat that is versatile and you can make it taste like anything just have the right seasonings!

This product came highly recommended to me by more than one person so I used it in my chili recipe with the chili spice blend from McCormick. It was delicious and not at all greasy. I did not even have to drain the grease off. This makes me think it is probably healthier than previous brands of ground turkey I have tried.

This excellent meat should have been sold frozen as the 3 lb. Package when delivered then opened for use showed browning coloration in the center. Usually this ground 93% fat free turkey meat is always bright red all the way thru indicating freshness. The taste when sautéed in water was excellent and the discoloration did affect the quality of the meat. I will probably buy smaller packages of this meat or frozen ones in the future, unless I'm in store shopping. Used for red sauce for pasta, Swiss cheese burgers or Chili, it is one of the few types of meat on my diet. A regular source of dietary protein.

Received this item in a online pickup. The item packaging smell horrible, without it even being opened. Something that should have been picked up on prior to it making it to the customer. The smell was so strong it was coming through the Walmart plastic bag and its own packaging. Very frustrating.
