JENNIE-O Premium Seasoned Herb Roasted Turkey Breast

By looking at the product, you think you're getting that whole thing well you're not you're getting it sliced and it goes by pound now on the ad. It said a price per pound, but it also said it would be a half a pound and it was supposed to be $4.50 so I'm thinking I'm getting a piece a whole piece of breast turkey breast not sliced turkey breasts for sandwiches. I thought that was a whole breast so justfor everybody.

good poultry flavor, pleasant herb seasoning. have the deli slice this at the thickest setting for use as turkey for dinner plates. thinner sliced for sandwiches.

average in every way, could have used morre seasoning. my biggest priblem though, was that the product pictured was that of a cooked turkey breast so I assumed that was what i would get, one that i could slice myself. i got the normal thinly-sliced turkey breast which i didn't want. next time I'll go with my first inclination and get a frozen Jenny O turkey breast and cook it myself.

Not what I was expecting at all. After thawing, it was much smaller than expected and sort of limp. When carefully cooked according to directions, it came out of the oven very dry. Covered it with gravy, but it the texture never really improved. The taste was so so and certainly not what we expected. It is my belief that something went wrong in the processing, the storage or transfer, as I have never had problems with Jenny-O products in the past.

What I requested and what I received were two distinctly different items; however, I accepted the item anyway! I ordered this: JENNIE-O Premium Seasoned Herb Roasted Turkey but rather received a few slices of "dry" turkey breast. NOT HAPPY AT ALL!

I normally love Jennie-O products but was a little disappointed in this "seasoned herb-roasted" turkey breast. I could see bits and pieces of dried herbs of some sort (possibly thyme?) in the meat, but there was zero "herb-y" flavor. The predominant flavor was salt. Sliced turkey breast on its own is generally pretty dry and low in flavor, so in my opinion it always needs enhancement, either with smoking or the addition of distinctive seasonings or both. I ended up adding some butter, caramelized onion butter seasoning, and a dash of Herbs de Provence to this product to make it more enjoyable. But I shouldn't have to work so hard to make a "premium seasoned" product taste good. I don't know...maybe I have just been spoiled by the buttery, herb-y turkey Provencal that my late husband used to cook for holidays. I certainly didn't expect this to be like a home-cooked, frequently basted whole turkey, but I do think Jennie-O could do better.

This came sliced and 20 dollars worth. When I ordered it was 4.92 price and I ordered 2. I also put do not replace. I wanted it whole like it shows. It didn’t ask how many pounds when I added it said add 2 items. So I got 2. Not wanting sliced for the regular price. I wanted the whole breast for the 4.92 as advertised. It even changed on my purchase history the price. Seems like something is always left out of messed up. So disappointed.

I received the substitution for this item which was turkey slices they were delicious so I did not get the item but I the substitution was good but I was not refunding my money for what I ordered and there was definitely a price difference

I ordered what I thought was the chunk as pictured but what I received was a couple slices of turkey breast. When I requested a refund I was told to return the turkey to any Walmart to receive a refund. Ridiculous to have to return food!!

I will never buy turkey online from Walmart ever again. The turkey arrived deli sliced in a ziplock bag. I was expecting it to come as pictured in the Walmart website, which is not sliced and factory packaged. I also was not expecting the high cost of the unexpected thin,turkey sliceses. I paid over $9.00 for what amounted to thinky sliced turkey bacon. I was very disappointed and feel cheated. The turkey I did receive should have only cost between $5-6.00 at the most.
