I bought this to transfer the several hundred albums I had from when I was in high school. So far, I have transferred about a dozen and the machine has worked very well. I like that it is able to save to either a SD card or a USB flash drive. One flaw that I did not like was that the machine did not separate the tracks. You have to record the whole side of an album, or sit there and pause at each song. The external speakers are adequate for listening to the music, but that isn't really why I bought it. I did hook it up to my home component system, and it performed admirably. Sounds perfect. This isn't a machine for the high-end audiophile by any means. If you want to listen to those old records that you haven't listened to in 30 years, then this is the machine for you. I have no other complaints, considering this machine cost under $80 delivered to my door.
I used it, once, to record a 33 rpm record to mp3 format, and it seemed to work, fine, once I realized I had to use the remote control.
Basic model with no bells or whistles good for a youngster.
AWESOME EQUIPMENT FOR RECORDING VINYL TO CDR"S
This unit is fine for transferring records to USB or MP3 media. It is superior to the Crosleys or other like priced models. It only has one speaker in the cabinet but has jacks for attaching stereo speakers. I purchased this to replace a broken Crosley that I use to preview 45 RPM records for my jukebox. It automatically shuts off on the 33 1/3 speed but not the 45 but this is fine for my purpose.
Granddaughter loves the analog days
I purchased this turntable and tried it out. For some reason, while playing a record, the volume did not go very high. So I didn't think my mother would hear it across the room while ironing. Though for some reason, the radios volume was loud. So I had to return it. I just ordered another one on-line and am hoping it is better.
Good if you wish to transfer your vinyl to mp3 files to your computer. Can be used as stand alone or hook it up to your reciever and play through your sound system. By itself you can play it on your patio etc for easy listening but the built in speakers are'nt the best but not too bad. The one feature that I missed in the other reviews was the fact that it is'nt automatic , meaning the arm does'nt return to home and then shut off. It just shuts off at the end of play and you have to manually return it to home. This would have stopped me from buying it if I had known. However it does everything else OK.
Bought this unit mainly to play old 78s. Easy to use and plays well on all 3 speeds. Only disappointment was quality of built-in speakers, but still a good value.
The item did not perform as advertised. It was supposed to be able to transfer the audio to a usb attachment but would not accept or recognize any of the usb units that were inserted. It would be smart for the manufacturer to include a suitable usb unit to eliminate this frustration.
