Cheaply made of plastic and the one I tried has issues with getting it a sustainable flame to light anything.

Nice colors,good enough for VERY light use, but they don't last very long under heavier use. I use them to melt off the "spider webbing" on hot glue when making crafts. I use the lighter to actually melt the glue sometimes if I need to drip it into a crevace of something. I like the length of the device, keeping my hands and fingers away from dripping glue. So I do tend to have it in use more frequently than occassionaly lighting a candle. The lower flame is perfect for my use, but I find that with frequent clicking to start, they just stop lighting. The fuel leaks out. the fire diminishes to nothing usable. By the time I have refilled them once or twice, they go in the trash. They are in the lower price range, though, so I would consider them more as disposables.

I gave this product one star. One star for each one of these torch lighters in the pack that actually works. If I could've given it a half a star, I would've, because it works, but only just. The jet flame is tiny. Could possibly be useful for lighting candles, but so is a regular lighter.
