I bought this for a 4 night trip and liked it so much I purchased a second one for my husband. I had picked up something similar- ROOTS brand from Winners but returned it. This was $20 less and seemed much sturdier and better made. The handle locks in securely, the wheels spin as expected. Great carry on for great price. We havent used them yet but so far so good!
Just picked these up. Both my husband and I ordered one each. Very impressed with the quality for the price point. Even the lining inside has weight to it, not cheap silky material that I've had in previous bags. Nice mesh zip side on one side, and elastic band clasp for the other. One small zip pouch area as well. Beautiful colour of blue. Holds lots so my tote bag and this carry-on luggage piece will help us avoid checking a bag for our trip.
I bought this bag because it was advertised and sponsored by Air Canada as meeting all of the necessary conditions as a "carry-on" bag. I found it spacious enough for a short trip (with access to a washing machine on the other end, of course) as well as easy to pull or carry. There were other reasons as well. I wanted to avoid the "checked-baggage" fees of Air Canada (and virtually every other airline) as well as avoiding the hassle of waiting for luggage to being sent through from the plane once I reached my destination. It fulfilled all of these objectives during my recent trip to Texas. Finally, and personally from someone who has no real "style", I find it both modern and attractive.
I bought this recently and just used it. There was plenty of room for a 3 day trip. Easy to order online and excellent shipping time.
I received this in about 3 - 4 days. Cannot beat the price. It looked smaller than I thought when I got it but I was able to get four pairs of cargo shorts 12 pairs of boxer shorts. Ten T Shirts. A pair of shoes. Pants, dress shirt, belt and other unmentionables. So it's plenty big.
Seems like a nice piece of luggage. I haven't used it yet though. The only negative would be I ordered a grey one and received a green one. Not worth sending it back for.
I'm giving it one less star because it measured slightly smaller than 20" (around 18) and I'm picky about that kind of thing. It's sturdy and well built, rolls nicely, lots of room, and has a pocket inside for shoes and things. Overall, a good buy.
When I bought this, it was advertised as an 18 inch carryon. I was trying to get a spinner carryon small enough to fit Spirits personal item size limit which is more like 19x15x9 than their advertised 18x14x8 limit, and was pretty mad when it arrived measuring a hair shy of 20 inches. I only had like three days til my flight because delivery took a bit longer than was expected, so immediately returned it and had to order a Takeoff XL. That said, with the listing here now updated to reflect its true measurement, I'll rate it as a darn good bag in terms of quality and dimensions if you're in need of a smaller carryon for some international airlines. Wheels rolled smoothly, the shell is surprisingly robust, zippers were chunky worked like a charm when I tested it out, and the handle was more stable than I had expected on such a cheap bag. It IS a very small carryon, 20 inches is the overall height with the wheels included, so you can't expect it to hold a whole lot, but again, good for those international airlines with much smaller limits than most US airlines. Great option for an international carryon!
I would never purchase this suitcase. It's a struggle to use it once clothes are in it. It is hard to pull. Since I received it as a replacement I don't think it can be returned.
was delivered damaged. this same item was offered for $22 on black friday
