i bought this because the first disk fixer damaged my favorite blu ray dvd and i found this device so i ordered it i tried to fix my favorite bluray dvd which i believeed was damaged beyond repair but this repair machine improved the disk but could not completely repair it but had i bought this one first i believe i could of repaired the scratches before the previous machine damaged it beyond repair what i did like is its easier to use this device to repair your bluray dvd and 4k i am a cripple i have nerve damaged hands and arms and this device made my life a whole lot easier in repairing any future scratches that msy occur to my movie anime library so if you have one then you will need tbis device

Does not work as advertised, which is overly hyped and promising too much. However, you can take a CD or DVD that doesn't play with hundreds of light to heavy scratches all over it and after running it 2 minutes all of the light scratches are gone and there's a 80% chance the disc will play again. Run that disc for a total of 4 minutes then the light and medium scratches will both be gone and there's a 90% or greater chance the disc will play again. Running it past 4 minutes doesn't seem to fix the other 10% or less of discs. Plus the deepest scratches are always visible, but less visible.. Run it 6 minutes, and some discs start to get so thin that they might be flexible when coming out of the machine, but harden back into shape once cool again. No luck on Blu-Ray type Discs, they just aren't fixable if they get a scratch that affects playability, and on Blu-Rays even the light-medium scratches are still visible after 4-6 minutes. I've been using a new one for 6 months, and doing 50 - 200 discs per month. The supply kits probably last long enough to run 300-400 discs for 4 minutes. It's not as great as claimed, but it is good if 4 minutes per CD or DVD and a 90% success rate is okay for you.
