JFL Enterprises Assorted Colors Birthday Candle, 5.5"

I purchased this from a local Wal-mart to use on a birthday cake. The kids LOVED it and so did the adults! It does take a while to turn off the music once the candles are all blown out and it is removed from the cake. You can only use it once but it was totally worth it to see all the kids' WOW faces and smiles. I would buy it again and I intend to purchase another one this week if I can find one in a local store.

Daughter bought this for a child's cake. It was so much fun to watch it bloom.

This was so much fun! Put it on my son's cake, ( he turned 36 ), set it in front of him on a tray covered in foil, and the surprised look then laughing made it worth every penny!! The big sparkler in the center, all the candles lighting and unfolding, it rotating around while playing Happy Birthday all worked perfectly. I would definitely buy this again.

It didn't play the music, but the sparkle effect was amazing, and a little scary. You'll notice in my picture there's no one in front of the cake because he ran. I didn't read reviews before buying this so I didn't see where some peoples caught fire. Luckily ours didn't. The kids loved it! I wish it would let me upload the video. If buying this candle I would use caution and make sure there's nothing flammable close to it. We will buy again my husband wants one for his cake!

Do not buy this!!! I bought this as a surprise for my husbands birthday. We were waiting for a long time for it to open up but the plastic started melting. Then it exploded with little pieces of metal flying out. My niece ended up with a burn blister on her neck, burnt my brother-in-law’s sweatshirt, and a guest stepped barefoot on a piece that was hot. We were very lucky that noone was hit in the eye. Luckily i have video and i hope to get this product recalled!

So, I bought this for a birthday cake and we were so excited to try it out based off of all the videos I have seen... Well, the sparklers shot up(very high), the music started playing and a big cloud of black smoke started to come up. It wasn't turning, and we took it to the cake into the kitchen sink, the fire got larger, the plastic started melting, still not opening up or turning. We couldn't blow out the fire so we turned the sink on and got it under the water. Wax was all over the bottom of the stand, the house smelled of burning plastic and yet, the music kept on playing (even under running water). It was a very hot fire too, we saved the cake but the candles were a bust. So I would have to say I do not recommend this product. Looks like others have had this issue as well, it had potential to be awesome and exciting. But it ended up being a very dangerous and let down of a product.

I ordered the Incredible Candle. I was sent something else from an outside vendor. It said Incredible Candle on the invoice, but not on the box. I noticed this but decided to give it a try...it was a dud. The candles lit for a short time and it played a very faint Happy Birthday. It is NOT the same. The Incredible Candle we had before was great..

Do not buy this candle! It almost caught our house on fire! We followed the intructions and once lit the flame was 2ft in the air! It never opened, and it melted all over my daughter's cake before we could even get the fire out. :( We ran the candle under water and it was still playing the Birthday song. Ruined my daughter's party! :(

I wish I could include the video of our experience with these candles! The photo I am able to share shows what the candles actually did. I put two on a birthday cake last night, as we were celebrating two family birthdays. Really high flames shot up from the center of each candle. They played music, but neither opened. When they were blown out in an attempt to diffuse the horrid smell of burning plastic, the flames were pushed across the table. We had to quickly grab a bowl of water to throw them in to extinguish them before our smoke detectors went off, then pat the flames on the table to put them out. I can understand if one candle is defective, but this was two at the same time. Worst purchase I have ever made!

We lit the candle as per instructions, and the candle caught fire and melted instead of opening out. This product is not safe and can cause a fire. This product should be recalled and discontinued. Reading other reviews we're not the first one with this problem.
