Jiffy 36 Cell Greenhouse Seed Starter Kit with 50mm Peat Pellets

peat pellets are really big which will support my seedlings quite a while, so I don't need to transplant so quickly. Also good for big seeds like beans and nasturtiums.

This kit is so easy to do. I am not a plant person but wanted to start my own garden. It could not have been any easier with this kit. I would recommend it if you are new to gardening or just want an easy start.

theyre fine. stuff grows quick from seed, but with some plants, you need to take the wrapper off before planting

I used the Jiffy kit for the first time. Out of 36 seeds 35 germinated. The tomotos germinated on third day, peppers 4/5 days etc. I had used warming pad under the greenhouse kit. Somehow after around two weeks the germinated plants were not growing. I tried few things. But after transplanting to small pots in soil, all are growing into healthy plants. I'm happy with the product but as backyard gardener, I think if it could grow and support plant growth for a month indoor till planted outside could be great. Overall great product to speed up germination and your success.

The dome is damaged and pallets all over the place. Packing wasn't done correctly and the package seems to have been treated as if Walmart and FedEx didn't care about my experience. I gave it a two star because 1 star would mean unusable and I will still try to make sure of the product even though I should probably return it.

The tray arrived with a corner cracked therefore it wouldn't retain water. Very flimsy overall. I went ahead and planted seeds as directed and they did sprout but the growth has been so slow I very much doubt that the soil was fertile. Two months into growth and what few have survived are only 2 to 2 1/2 inches tall. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
