Jiffy 8-Celled Biodegradable Seed Starting Peat Pots Strips - 4 Pack with Drainage

In the past, I have used seed starting tray kits that have multiple plastic “pods” for sowing vegetable seeds. What my husband and I found is that the seedlings' roots often grew through the holes at the bottom of the pods. When we transplanted the seedlings, we risked damaging or tearing the roots when we removed them from the pods. Last spring, we sowed a lot of our vegetable seeds in these peat pot strips and put them in seed starting kits (so the peat strips were on a plastic platform and not sitting in the water that accumulates at the bottom of the tray and they had the clear cover to keep pests away). The seedlings' roots grew through the peat pots, but we didn't tear or damage the roots when we planted the seedlings in our garden. We just planted the seedlings along with the peat pods.

these work well to start my own seeds, which saves me a lot of money. they are large enough for good root development. when I'm ready to plant, i break them open and plant them with the seedlings.

very compact but efficient for planting new plants. like that its a tray so its easier to move. its also strong material.

These are easy to use but you will have to cut them out when you get ready to plant. Seems easier with individual plant containers.

Can not Review because the Shipping is taking Far Too Long? I've waited 8 Long Days? I wanted to Start to Germinate my Herb, Veggie and Flower Seeds by early to Mid-March but, this Shipping Delay has put a Stop to My Time Line. Very frustrating.
