"JIFFY" Golden Yellow Cake Mix, 9 oz Box

So many ways to use this mix, and they're all delicious at an unbeatable price. Lots of recipes out there to try. Makes smaller batches (one 8x8, one layer or 12 cupcakes, about 16 cookies) for smaller households. Makes great pineapple upside down cake, a big variety of cookies and bars, pancakes and waffles, fruit cobbler. Boston cream pie. Pack up a disposable 8x8 pan with the mix, a can of frosting, a few add-ins or toppings and you have a great gift for teachers, older neighbors, shut-ins, food challenged folks, anyone who just needs a little cake in their life!

These make a very nice, one layer cake for small families, or when you just need one layer for a Boston Cream Pie or strawberry shortcake, trifle, etc... I always add a spoonful of sour cream to any cake mix to make them more moist - just a thought.

This is a great option for someone who just wants a small single layer cake. Jiffy used to also make white and chocolate like this but I haven't seen either of those for years. I also use this for strudel topping on cobblers It's just right for an 8x8 pan.

This is absolutely perfect when you just need one layer. Plus, I use it to make a crumbly topping for a cherry crisp - just mix with butter, crumble, and add to the top of the fruit. Sprinkle with walnuts if you want.... Easiest, quickest dessert ever.

These jiffy cake mixes are just perfect for my wife and I. As a retired couple a full size box of cake mix is just too much for the two of us to eat before it turns stale and moldy. This mix will feed each of us both an average piece of cake each day for three days. Nothing wasted. It tastes great and costs just 16 cents per piece for us.

Jiffy cake mix is great for “dump cake” recipes, when you want a smaller version. Why though, can't I get it in my pickup order? It seems like a silly item to have to ship.

I like to buy this cake mix, it's just me and my husband unless we have company so it really works out well for the two of us. I use milk instead of water makes the texture even better.

This is a handy sized cake mix to make a single layer 8" or 9"cake or pineapple or apple upside down cake -- just the right size to make quickly. It is tasty and quick to make.

Old time brand that tastes as good as I remember from when I was a kid. Package doesn't look like it changed in 50 years. Very hard to find in stores so glad I discovered it's available at Walmart.

i bought as an ingredient for a particular recipe. this product might be wonderful if used as directed on the box, but it did do well for my purposes. maybe my review is not one to base this product.
