Jiffy Premium Seed Starting Soil, 10 QT

Excellent mixture, used immediately and on several different flower varieties had germination within three days under grow light and heating pad. Important to moisten seed growing mixture before planting seeds in containers.

this is the first time purchasing this product. I had read that it's better than Miracle-Gro which is what I usually use. I really like the feel of the soil. it was not dense at all. hoping for good results.

This product is expensive, but if you want your tiny seeds to have a good start, it is worth the price. One bag will be enough to start all your spring plantings for later transplant.

This brand of starter soil does not have a lot of sticks and is not clumpy. My seeds like it!!

I've used this mix before. It's a great seed starter. Mix with boiling hot water to kill the bacteria in it. It's great!

This Jiffy seed starting soil was moldy when I opened it. I threw it away because I was afraid to use it, handle it or breath in the mold spores. Unfortunately I didn't think I could return it; so, I threw it away and now I'm out $15. Not happy at all. I'm surprised because Jiffy products are usually good quality; but, this was not. I won't buy Jiffy soil again.
