I have used Jiffy pellets to start my summer vegetables and flowers many times. They are basically peat,and plants started with them do very well.

Can't get any easier than that.
Very ease to use. It makes a Convenience little greenhouse. You just plant and wait and watch. And the little plants come up. When the plants reach the top of the cover you put them in a larger pot or into the garden and they keep growing.
