Jim Beam Devil's Cut deserves high praise for its innovative and robust profile. The extraction of whiskey trapped in the barrel wood creates a rich and intense flavor that sets it apart from traditional bourbons. This process imparts a deep, oaky character with notes of vanilla and spice, delivering a truly memorable sipping experience. Devil's Cut strikes a perfect balance between boldness and smoothness, making it a standout choice for bourbon enthusiasts seeking a more adventurous and complex expression. It's a testament to Jim Beam's craftsmanship, offering a captivating and exceptional addition to the bourbon landscape.
I have been drinking Jim Beam for decades. Can't see paying a lot more for over priced bourbons. Decided to try the Devils Cut. It was worth a few extra bucks. Sure I have tried Woodford Reserve, Bullit, and many others. Right now I am in Texas, and they have some good bourbons, but I will stack Devils Cut against any of them.
I love jim beam period but Devils cut is by far the best bourbon I have ever had. It is so smooth even the smell will make you come back for more. I definitely recommend devils cut.
Jim beam devil cut very smooth I've enjoyed it in the past tried some today and had to buy me some more cuz it's very enjoyable smooth and tasty and it's 90 proof that helps too
I give Devil's Cut five ribbons for one reason. I am a scotch person. Smoky peaty sweetness. I have *never* liked bourbon. Flat notes dying mid-tongue, leaving me wondering why I had bothered. But a friend convinced me to try Devil's Cut. Confession: I have since purchased a bottle. Strong oak and - here I disagree with some reviews I have read - vanilla. Vanilla is a strong flavor; something we often fail to recognize because we use it so sparring and rightly so because it can overpower other flavors easily. The oak and vanilla make Devil's Cut delightfully - dare I write devilishly? - spicy. But there are soft notes at the edges of the tongue hinting a sweetness and a full range of flavors across the palate. I can't say bourbon will ever become my favorite, but any bourbon that could convince me to purchase a bottle deserves a 5/5 rating.
My new favorite bourbon. Just discovered it last week. It has now become my regular table whiskey and I am quite sure I will buy it regularly. Bottled at a proof that I prefer (90), it has the character, strength and complexity I like in a bourbon. For me, I drink this straight, no mixers. Cheers to Jim Beam for developing this fine whiskey. It's a winner.
My favorite place to be most afternoons is in a comfortable chair on the back porch. I have three things to keep me company. 1. A good book 2. A good cigar and 3. Devil's Cut on the rocks. The smokey flavor of Devil's Cut compliments the cigar adding to an overall relaxing experience. Although I like to try other types of whiskey, this is the one I go to on a regular basis. The low price helps too!
I'm fairly new to bourbon. I've been testing different Jim beam products as well as competitor products to get a real understanding of my ideal personal preference. After trying this one, I think I found my favorite. One of the smoothest ones I've tried so far. Definitely buying again.
I love drinking when you at a party or at a family event. All them my favorite flavor. What mood I'm in that day. No not improve your product. I love your product. Can drink all night. We at family event and at a party going to drink at a party or stay at friends
