I haven't drank in years, when I did I was a Jack girl',Not anymore I'm forever switching Beam girl for sure! This Red stag has to be some of the best IV had in years! Can't just have 1 not even 2 it's so smooth with a hint of flavor! Warmed this wisco granny up the deer hunt
I loved the original Red Stag which was billed as Jim Beam infused with Black Cherry. I don't like the new lower proof version, which is Black Cherry Liqueor infused with bourbon. It's too sweet and not enough proof. I won't be buying Red Stag anymore.
I use to enjoy a couple shots of red stag over ice to end the day but now I might as well be drinking a wine cooler I hope and pray they fix this issue so that i can enjoy my once adult drink .....from a once loyal customer.
The new recipe for red stag is not an improvement. It is sweeter and has a much more artificial flavor. You used to be able to combine it with cola and it tasted like a cherry coke. Now it doesn't mix well at all. Very disappointing. I used to really like this product. Unfortunately I will not buy this product again. Don't fix what isn't broken.
When this product hit the market, it was 40%, had a great flavor profile, mixed well and was perfect on the rocks. Today they have dropped it down and changed it completely. It was at one time my go to favorite, but now the change made it completely different.
I would buy this product religiously. but now ya can't find any This was my favorite drink. My only drink. now you have left me to find a new company and give them my money. Thanks for the good times we had Jim. but this peach, apple, vanilla taste like garbage compared to red stag black cherry original recipe. You really messed up trying to be like everyone else and have all these novelty flavors nobody likes. R.i.p. red stag. You will forever be missed.
You have decided to reduce the Alcohol content of your Jim Beam red stag bourbon from 40% to 32.5%. BIG MISTAKE. After buying this product for many years I will not be buying anymore, neither will my company. I have seen this situation before, and it totally killed the product in question. Is this the Scottish SNP government forcing you to comply with their agenda? Or is it the big distributer's greed to increase profit through less taxes? Very disappointed, bet this is not happening in Kentucky
Red stag has changed for the worst since I last bought it. It used to be deliciously smooth, Rich, sweet and luxurious. It also used to be 40% abv. Now it's 32.5 abv. Nowhere near as good as it used to be. It now tastes cheap and awful. I won't buy this again. I used to think Jim beam made quality products - not anymore.
Red Stag used to be a beautiful blend of bourbon and cherry and it was wonderfully complimented by 40% abv. But this new version?? It's too sweet now, and I can barely taste any bourbon in it at all... and the drop in abv (to 32.5%) makes this drink lifeless and insipid; the after taste is flat with a dull bitterness. It is awful. Please bring back the original!!! I will not be buying this product again.
been my favourite Bourbon for years, just bought a bottle and when i got home noticed the alcohol content has gone down from 40 to 23% and you can seriously taste the difference!!! tossers! they can shove it where the sun don't shine! over to JD from now on and never coming back, bunch of shiseters. If something isn't broken, don't try and fix it you utter bellends! someone should lose their job for this.
