Jim Dandy Quick Grits, 2 lb Bag (32 Oz Bag)

We love Cheesey grits🤗I ordered these grits @ the last minute,they're within my budget and I was surprised @ the size the bag was it's not super big,it's just enough for the 2 of us to last through out this month 🙌

Only grits I buy, it's easy to cook once you pour them in boiling water. I recommend you cook them slowly so they can cook thoroughly. If cooked to fast the grain will still be hard.

Grits are a special kinda food. Either you can or you can't cook them right, like rice (cooking without a rice cooker). Grits are the breakfast side dish, or throw in some shrimp and its the main dish. Grits are to breakfast what rice is to supper (dinner).

I cook mine but add evaporated milk , butter and lemon pepper. They are delicious like this. My late husband cooked them for me years ago this way and I've cooked them this way ever since. Several people I know now do the same. I use 1/4 amt of water to 2/3 evaporated milk. I no longer can eat them just cooked with water. I have but prefer the other way due to such a yummy taste.

Who would have thought that I'd be loving Grits at my age but here I am putting under more than butter, I feel like the Bubba Gump of Grits. I had these for the first time 6 years ago after a hospital visit and fell in love with the ease of cooking and flavor, and the price is right(no pun intended) I had a nutritionist tell me that they were just blank calories. Then later attended a Mediterranean cooking class and was told it was a great source of grain. I like the way that sounds and sticking with the Grits. Simple to make , cost effective, and makes breakfast better These are a great product, and a fantastic flavor

These grits are really good. I am picky with grits and cannot stand the instant ones. These are just about as quick but taste so much better.

Grits are for some reason when cooked for hour or more very gritty and grainy don't understand they never become smooth

5 minutes? More like an hour. This is the worst brand of grits I have ever purchased. Even cooking them at the right ratio produces watery grits. They don't thicken until the next day. Got these in a pinch as they were the only ones on the shelf that day. Love Walmart, but will have to visit another store to get decent grits.

WHEN I PICKED UP MY GROCERIES, GOT HOME AND THE GRITS BAG HAD A WHOLE IN IT. i LOST ABOUT A HALF CUP OF GRITS. THESE THINGS SHOULD BE NOTICED BEFORE PACKAGING.
