Jimmy Dean Frozen Breakfast Sandwich, Maple Pancakes & Sausage Griddle Cake, 8 Count

Perfect size and taste. Why are these no longer available? I can't find them anywhere. Would buy 2 to3 boxes at a time. Now I'll have to find something else from a different company. You dropped the ball on this one. Please bring them back.

I love these! full favor and fluffy pancakes. I don't follow the instructions given. I first remove the sausage and place the sausage on a plate along with a microwaveable cup of water of any size that will fit under the plastic lid. For about 30 seconds on each side. BUT that is for my microwave. Play around to get it right on time. Once that's done. Remove the sausage and place the pancakes in the lid. If excess juices, remove them before the pancakes are placed. Make sure to keep the cup of water inside the lid with the food as it cooks. About 1/3 cup of water to keep in the container of your choice. Then put them together and eat. I also heat my syrup. Be careful, watch as it heats. Very hot, I burned myself already, but I ate breakfast and it was wonderful

I do not like that the sausage is spicy. Why does everything have to be spicy. I do like the pancake compared to a biscuit because the breading of the pancake does not stick to roof of my mouth or to my teeth like a biscuit does. The flavor of the pancake does tone down the spicy sausage a tad bit. I think a plain sausage in it would be better.

Two of my favorite breakfast foods, made into a sandwich. The griddle cake is light %26 fluffy with a slight maple flavor, and you can't go wrong with Jimmy Dean's sausage - it is the best! Quick and easy to prepare (1 minute in the microwave), and tasty; what's not to love? *I add a slice of cheese after it is cooked - delicious.

I've been ordering this for about a year and eat at least 3 a week. I'm very satisfied with the quality and consistency. I find that heats up more evenly if I take it out of the freezer 1/2 hour ahead of time. I prefer to salt %26 pepper the egg. Then it tastes more like homemade.

I was very skeptical on purchasing these for the simple fact that my toddler loves this same brand of pancake sausage on the stick and the stick has always made it very accessible for him. So when I purchased these I was just trying them out to see how he would handle a sandwich with the same taste. Omg he loves them even more than his pancake sausage on the stick. The sandwich is now his go to in the freezer when he gets to pick breakfast. The sandwich is very filling so I wouldn't recommend for anyone toddler that can only eat one pancake sausage on the stick. I personally think the sandwich is equivalent to two pancake sausage on the stick.

They are the best!! I've been eating one every morning for about 2 yrs now, still not tired of it. A great value. Have tried all other brands that I can get through Walmart, these remain consistently good. A nice taste combo with the tiniest kick of sausage spice, with a little sweet of the maple.

I've been buying Jimmy Dean's breakfast sandwiches for over 10 years. I preferred up to this time the biscuit, sausage, egg and cheese; but, recently discovered the Maple Griddle Cake sausage, egg and cheese which is now my preferred sandwich! (FYI: The sandwich above was purchased but was NOT the complete sandwich of my new preference. The COMPLETE sandwich is now available in BOTH Jimmy Dean and Great Value in both 4 pks %26 8 pks. The only reason why I purchased Jimmy Dean 4 pks in the past was because they were frequently on sale in the weekly ads of other stores for less than Walmart's Great Value regular price (usually $4.99 for a 4 pk. The 8 pk is also cheaper on sale ). There is almost no difference between the brands in taste, texture, appearance, etc. I will buy whatever is cheapest!)

It's convenient, but mom wishes it came in a milder version, as the spices upset her stomach. A glass of cold milk helps put out the fire. Granted, she's in her 80s, so this issue may not be a problem for everyone. I'm allergic to pork (%26 other ingredients in this product) so I can't try it to see if M♡m's right. You decide.
