Absolutely love the maple jimmy dean sausage. It's a bit costly but you do get your money for it. The only thing I would recommend is be sure to check dates when purchasing. Sometimes they are about to expire and sometimes they are months out. Really a great sausage though that we love to use in multiple breakfast dishes.
best overall value. high level quality, but still pretty reasonable price. Dor context, I usually buy a lot of off-brand, or store brand items, wherever possible, with a few exceptions here and there. This is one such exception, simply because. The e taste is simply that much better, so it is worth it.
Don't let the word MAPLE throw you off. The light background "note" of Maple flavor takes this sausage to a whole new level. Maple sausage sitting on the plate next to your pancakes is definitely the way to go. Impress your picky relatives with the very nice Maple sausage.
the rich maple flavor is tasty!! use in breakfast casseroles and it's a winner the mild taste of pure maple syrup in sausage it very tasty if you try once you will love this Sausage definitely a casserole treat for breakfast lunch or supper so versatile for any dish definitely makes my list and never have any leftover!! YUMMY!!🥰💐💖💯
I like the Jimmy Dean sausages for my breakfasts at least 2 or 3 days a week. The taste and consistency is always the same and totally repeatable. I slice the tubes up into 1 inch thick slabs then put them in my Ninja oven at 425 for 20 minutes the for1.5 minutes on high broil. Then I put them in vacuum sealed bags in the freezer. When I feel like breakfast sausage the slabs are always close at hand.
My hubby likes to have breakfast on his weekends off and always wants either thick cut bacon or patty sausage. This roll is a better buy than buying pre-cut patties, and he prefers this over other brands for its meaty consistency and texture. I've tried buying less expensive options and he'll eat them, but he prefers this Jimmy Dean roll sausage brand. He has eaten it for years now and (thankfully) can cook it himself. When I saw this variety in the maple flavor a couple of years ago, I ordered it for him to try. He does like maple flavor meats. He loves it. I've ordered other varieties of this brand and he'll eat most of them, too, but this is his favorite so it's what I buy. Since they're airtight wrapped, they last a long while in the drawer in the refrigerator, but I've also frozen rolls and had no problems with the thawed product. If you like a slightly sweet taste to temper the spice of breakfast sausage, you'll like this. You can also scramble it and use it in casseroles like a pre-made French toast casserole or a farmer's breakfast scramble, as well as scrambling, cooking, draining, and freezing it for quick additions to dishes later.
Easily one of our favorite flavors of sausage. We use it often in casseroles or cook it plain as a side for breakfast. Perfect amount of maple flavor, the smell is amazing, price isn't bad!
This is great sausage. I usually buy the off brand, but they were out at the store. This is really good, it's just a bit more expensive than I'd like to pay.
If you are like me,can't eat pork without it effecting you're body in a very bad way.I wouldn't recommend this sausage for you.Taste good. The maple adds a nice little sweetness.I have seen maple sausage used in Casseroles. Breakfast is my favourite at anytime of the day.
Today is May 12, 2026. I ordered this product as it is one of my favorites. However, the date seems to concern me and my health. Can I get my money back or at least a replacement. This should be embarrassing. And it looks like it's been punctured by a fork. Like, what are we doing?!
