For some reason when my health is acting up these are one of the few things I can keep down/am willing to eat. So there is that. They're salty as heck tasting but in a good way and they're best with some sort of drink. I like them with orange juice. With out a drink they'd be far to dry. portions are what most would consider small, they're perfect for me. I bet their sodium's super high.
I like this product in that it heats up quickly in the microwave. It makes it convenient to put it on a paper plate or napkin. That with a cup of fruit in a plastic bag, I can grab and go for my coffee and be out the door and driving to work. Or if my grandchildren are here I can make breakfast for all of us jump in the car and get to practice in time.
I got to use to keep them in the freezer for a quick grab for me when I am on the go in the morning. Sometimes I don't always have time to do a full out breakfast while trying to get everybody else is going. These give me a quick grab to get my hunger knocked back while I get everybody out the door and in their way. They would be a great little snack as well for kids coming out of school. I would highly recommend. So tasty and the perfect size.
We really enjoyed these little breakfast sausages Jimmy Dean it's a quick breakfast and it's not too much. We don't use the whole thing. I usually just use one biscuit and sausage for person, but that's enough. The dozen job tasty we really enjoyed these little breakfast sausages Jimmy Dean it's a quick breakfast and it's not too much. We don't use the whole thing. We usually just use one biscuit and sausage for person, but that's enough. it does the job!
Tried and True. Jimmy Dean Sausage Biscuits (Snack Size) never disappoints. Always consistent quality and taste. I like to zap the sausage first, slap a half slice of cheese on it, then zap the biscuit for about 20 seconds, just till soft. Arrange them together, and eat a yummy breakfast or snack.
love these little binches! they're a quick and easy unhealthy add-on to a healthy breakfast that keeps me from spiraling into complete junk eating by giving just a little treat. quick and easy and satisfying straight from the microwave. jimmy really needs his dean worshipped for these
ehhh, i'm kinda on the fence with this one. i don't ever crave it, i don't really enjoy the plasticky taste of the sausage while i eat it, but i do appreciate how easy it is to prep. the biscuits ARE very yummy though! no problems with the biscuits. the sausage just has this sort of bulging thick plasticky casing taste to it. i mean it's definitely not plastic, it's just not all that great to me. very snappy outside texture, which i'm just personally not into. the spices don't wow me. could stand to be more seasoned i think. i'm not mad at these, but i'll probably shop around trying to find something better.
After 4 purchases, 2 of those had bone fragments. Multiple 2 packs had the same issue. I will no longer buy Jimmy Dean branded products in the future. Tennessee pride sausage biscuits, while not the Jimmy Dean brand, are better quality.
We use to get these all the time and hadn't purchased in a while. Wanted something easy a fast. So far all we get are a mouthful of small bones and gristle. I know occasional bits are expected, but it's been in almost every bite of the first 6 sandwiches. Like quite a few things these days, these just don't taste the same either. So if you buy, watch your mouth!
What happened to this great tasting product?! I can't tie down an exact date when this product changed from a good well-priced five-star item to where we feel it falls now , but every purchase of this product that we have made since April has been bad, with the most serious issue being multiple bone fragments in the meat, so many you could hardly take a bite without getting one or more pieces. not a very pleasant experience. The sausage patty in the biscuit is actually bigger than it was previously but the taste, even aside from the bone fragments, is inferior to the prior products that we tasted. We were really disappointed in this change because we thought we had finally found an excellent filler for those days when we just wanted something warm and a little fatty with a biscuit that really tasted similar to a homemade biscuit. I contacted Tyson foods, thinking they might have indicated they had malfunctioning equipment, but if that was the case they did not provide that information. I also told Tyson that I would relay these comments to Walmart.
