Jinx Puppy Cage-Free Chicken, Brown Rice, & Sweet Potato Dry Dog Food, 4 lb Bag

This Jinx puppy dog food is healthy and nutritious, but after my little dog ate it for a few weeks she wasn't as eager to eat it unless she was very hungry. She ate it the best when I would toss one at a time to her and make a game out of it as she ran around the floor. It's satisfied her for a long time too.

This is by no means cheap, but it is great for our growing puppies. it is definitely worth the price and has what they need to start a strong foundation. They just hit the four-week mark and consume this 3x a day and they love it. We grind this up in a blender and mix with water and milk replacement as the Mom has started weening them off of her milk. Will continue to buy but do wish they sold this in a much larger size bag.

My PooChon is 7 months old and I started him on the Jinx at 2 months. Switched him from Puppy Chow with absolutely no problems at all. His coat is so very soft . He gets a 1/2 tsp of coconut oil in his dry food twice a day. Highly recommend this food for the first year. Thanks

I noticed my dog liked sweet potatoes and chicken treats. So thought I'd look for some of that in a dog food. She's a picky eater but she loves this food. Comes in small sized bites. I don't see her having any stomach problems. But did give her little gas.

it seems like a good food. my puppy needs extreme encouragement to eat this kibble but at least I can get him to eat it. ive had to donate every other kind Ive gotten him. so far fresh pet is his fav but since he's a tiny breed kibble helps with gland issues. and we dont want those

Bought this for my 18 month old RatChi, based on my son's rave review of Jinx that he buys for his dog. My little dog could smell it through the shipping box, so I gave her a little in her bowl when I got it unpacked. She legit lost her mind, wolfing it down so fast that I thought she had entered some sort of contest behind my back. I chose the puppy food for two reasons, first because she is still young and a rescue, so a bit underweight and second, because it was the only one I saw that was based on chicken rather than salmon and I don't know all of her tastes yet; chicken seemed the safest way to go. She LOVES it. I think one thing that a great many pet owners are not aware of is that dogs who eat kibble that has no corn or wheat or soy, poop way less than dogs that eat high-grain/high carb food. Dogs don't actually use/digest all that nasty stuff, so there is more wasted food, which of course translates to more poop and usually softer, messier poop. Compare nutrition panels on those high dollar foods that have about a million ingredients (mostly carbs, cloaked as actual nutrition) and you will see what I mean. Cheaper, generic kibble isn't actually cheaper either, because it all ends up on the grass outside. They have to eat a ton of the cheap stuff and it doesn't do them a bit of good, plus it will shorten the dog's life, while you keep throwing money at a vet to fix the problems caused by terrible food. Try some Jinx and see for yourself; it's awesome pet food!

i raise pomeranians. this kubble is rather big fir these pups so i must mix with water. this us not their favorite puppy chow but its price is fair and quality adequate for pre and post natal food and for pups when softened. would much prefer smaller kibble.

I started my older dog on Jinx when I found it had the same nutritional content as my previous high-end dog food brand.When we got our puppy, it was a no brainer to start him out on Jinx too. Both our dogs love this brand and we love that it contains high quality ingredients.

My dogs are not picky and have never been hesitant to eat before, but none of them liked this. Not only did none of them show any enthusiasm for this food, but one only nibbled at it and left the rest in her bowl. Would not buy again.

Our dog did not like it at all. I tried with a can mixed in, dry by itself, with gravy or toppings- nothing ! Ended up giving it to a homeless person's dog.
