highly recommend this product. works great. keeps squirrels, raccoons, cats, etc. away. i ordered 2 more.
I think this little machine might be keeping the rabbits away. I used to see them daily but now I don't see them at all. I think it also scared some coyotes but while they stopped when it went off. the coyotes didn't run away, it just started howling and walked away. So 4 stars on the rabbits. Jury's still out on bigger animals.
Purchased this to scare off the stray cats that destroyed my vegetable garden by using it as a kitty litter box. The lights worked as expected, but the sensors are hyper sensitive and continuously trigger with the slightest movement from leaves. Since the sensors are easily triggered, the noise cycles continuously, and the high-pitched ultrasonic sound is too much noise pollution to set it to a more effective volume. Same applies to the alarm. To avoid annoying the neighbors, I set it to a lower volume, which did nothing to scare the cats. I will keep working with it to see if there's a way to keep the sensors from going off so easily. Otherwise, it charges well and the sounds are annoying enough for some animals to avoid it.
I like the motion sensor range is wide and so far it is working to keep the neighbors dogs off my grass. so far(less than a month) I haven't found dog poop on my grass .
it worked great the 1st few days, then with the idiot across the street letting all her 15 cats out, they caught on and ignored it and went right back to using my yard as their litter box, and my car and my front porch to lounge on. i think if it had a place to attach a water hose that sprayed as well as making noise, THAT would keep them away
I had a huge problem with squirrels and bought one of these because I had exhausted all of the other humane repellent options. I tried all of the suggested settings for them and although the unit functioned, it did not seem to repel any of the squirrels and bunnies. I live in an apartment so I couldn't use the light and audible alarm settings. I don't know if that would've helped but I will save it for next year after I've moved into my house to try it again. The lights are very bright and the alarm does get very loud; so if this is something you're looking for, this will probably work for you. It did recharge well in the sun, never had to recharge again after the initial setup. The solar panel on it works great. Overall, you can give it a shot but unless you want to listen to a loud alarm going off every time the wind blows or a bug crawls by, pass on this.
it's sturdy, well built but doesn't work on cat s nor dogs. I bought this to chase away feral cats using my yard as a litter box. People really need to stop feeding feral cats. Adopt them %26 follow rules like dog owners.
first, let me say it is a cute little item fits right in with garden decor. however, this sound comes on almost immediately when people walk by at the lowest possible sound, so it's very annoying. And it doesn't keep the animals away. I was hoping that it would keep the skunks away as well as feral cats.
we bought it to keep the cats out of our yards and away from our bird feeders.....the cats noticed it and are playing with it What a joke and you made a joke out of us
It stopped working after about six weeks so I wrote the company TWICE and they ignored my message. I won't do business with them again since they don't communicate with their customers.
