Had a horrible roommate situation in college and ended up needing to sleep on the floor in a friend's room for about half the semester. Bought this to sleep on, and it was actually so comfortable! Much cheaper than most other options I could find, and it is actually great quality. I was skeptical at first because it is only about three inches thick, but that didn't end up being a problem AT ALL. So comfortable, and it's so convenient how it can fold up when not in use. I will definitely be using this in the future for car camping and for guests to have a place to sleep.
When the rather small box arrived I thought I had gotten a twin size rather than a queen sized mattress. I was wrong. The mattress is triple folded and compressed to an extremely small size. Almost immediately puffing up to 3 inches once plastic was removed, I will wait the entire 48 hours before using. I have a Japanese style bed and wanted a bit of extra height and this appears to be just the thing I needed. So wonderful that it folds nicely also when I want to move or rotate the mattress. I am extremely pleased at this point!! :)
This thing really came in clutch for me at the holidays, I needed a way to add another sleeping area in my house and I needed it to come within a week. I decided to go with this over a cot and I was really pleased with the results. Walmart had the best price and quickest delivery, it comes vacuum sealed and they recommend you let it rest for at least 48 hours after opening. 24 hours after opening I was like this is a little flat, but by day 3 it was a nice firm 4 inch cushion. Honestly I think it would have been okay as is, I'm over 200lbs and couldn't feel the floor when I laid on it. But I also put a 2" foam topper on top that way I didn't have to worry about anyone feeling the seam from how the pad folds up. Worked like a dream, family was able to pass out on it after a big holiday meal and they said they slept great. When I was done, I folded it up and tossed it in the closet out of the way. Perfect solution so far!
Purchased for our grandkids and they work perfect. We bought two and they can put them together and play on them for hours or separate to sleep etc! I have been looking for a deal and was able to get the two for a little over 100 dollars. They would also work well as mattress toppers!
We purchased a 4 inches mattress. As instructed, we let the mattress leave flat over 48 hours. It came to 3.5 - 4 inches high. it has good firmness with Memory Foam. I am buying a mattress cover to protect the mattress. I can buy a thin Shiki Futon mattress over it if the Memory Foam is too firm. Since it is 3-fold, I use the mattress as sofa on my futon bed frame.
no lie i thought it was like my daughter bed but no it biger my 3 kids fit in this bed i love it so much if i could but 100 star i would thank you so much
My son loves to sleep on his childhood cot and he is an adolescent now so the futon is PERFECT for his body
I got this for my brother-in-law he has back problems and he was amazed by how it was comfortable and supported his back. firm but not stone firm, enough support you don't sink in either.
I purchased this foam mattress to use as a topper on a Murphy bed, in addition to the mattress that I have in the cabinet. I was hoping that this would fit into the cabinet, but thickness ( approximately 12 inches thick folded) is too much to fit into a standard cabinet that already holds a 4 inch folding mattress. Returning it for the 3 inch folding mattress, hoping to make it work.
very poor quality triend to return they didn't accept it and still waiting for the refund. worst experience
