Jo Malone London Amber & Lavender Cologne - 3.4oz

I have been using Jo Malone's Amber & Lavender cologne for many, many years. It is subtle, but oh so very pleasant. Whenever I wear it, women (& sometimes men) comment on it & ask what it is. Many of my friends are now Jo Malone converts. I can't always smell it on myself, but others do. My daughter, who lives in England, is a convert, & it has been one of her Christmas presents from me for years. This was the first time I have ordered online & was very impressed with the procedure. I live in Beaufort, South Carolina, USA, & there is no outlet for purchasing this wonderful product, so I have been buying it when I am in various cities, but traffic conditions kept me away from the shoppng centers this year, so arrived for Christmas in England with my daughter without her gift. Hence, my use of Jo Malone UK. My order was last minute & Jo Malone came through for me with a timely delivery. I hope to find Jo Malone online in the USA as well. We have tried other scents, but Amber & Lavender is still our favorite. Thank you Jo Malone.

This is my favorite Jo Malone fragrance! It is at once both fresh and spicy, with a lovely top note, and a sensual dry down. I love that the lavender note doesn't get lost in the heady amber base. The two seem like such a contradiction, yet work beautifully together. I wear this scent alone during the day, and layer it with a bit more spicy fragrance at night and I never fail to get compliments. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a new everyday scent.

This is my absolute favorite perfume. Period. It smells like a fresh bath with a slightly spicy undertone. I do not like sweet or sugary smells and this is a perfect blend of floral, spicy and wonderful. I only wish they hadn't stopped making the body cream, I can't find it anywhere.

My Grandmother had a lovely house in France and when I was a little girl I used to go into her bedroom and look through her things. Her room smelt of Lavender and old fashioned perfume, the mixture of which is reminiscent of your Amber and Lavender Cologne. It makes me happy when I wear it and soothes my mind. I was impressed with the promptness of your delivery and your pretty packaging. Just as they do in Europe. Also it was nice to receive the free samples. My next purchase may be the Pomegranate one.

I first bought this cologne at the airport this year and everyone has remarked on it. I have since bought two more one for a friend and one for my daughter and they absolutley adore it. It is so fresh everyone notices when I wear it. I am definately going to order another bottle before Christmas

I am normally attracted to heavy, quite sensual fragrances but after smelling this on a friend decided to indulge myself. From the moment the package arrived...all cream and black luxury I became a new convert. My best tip is to spritz it into your hair. The smell warms as the day goes on and is just so classy and deep without being over powering. I think it is probably meant as a man's cologne but unless you are a flowery girly don't dismiss this.

I went to an old school-friend's garden party celebrating her birthday and her cousin came to sit beside me. She smelt absolutely lovely. I asked her what perfume she was wearing, and she said it was Jo Malone's "Amber and Lavender" Though I love nice smells, there are only a few perfumes I really love, but this is one of them. As soon as I got home, I went on line, and ordered a bottle, which has absolutely lived up to expectations.

I first came across amber & lavender when I was visiting a very poorly patient{I was part of a district nurse team] The ladies husband had just returned from restbite & brought back for his wife the fragrance & body lotion.It was so relaxing & the fragrance filled the bedroom with a peaceful ambience. After the wife's death - I always have bought the fragrance which I adore & it will always remind me of a very special lady. I have tried other J/M fragrances but my favourite is Amber & lavender.

Bought this one based on the reviews and because I absolutely love lavender, but this one is not for me . Smells like men's after shave. Not at all what I was expecting. I had a sample of the wood sage & sea salt and also a sample of the English pear and freesia and those two smell amazing, should have gone with one of those. I know fragrances don't smell the same on everyone, so I still recommend it but try a sample before buying the bigger size.

I have bought this perfume before and love it but this recent purchase seemed watered down. One of things I liked about the perfume was the fact it had a strong scent and lasted well but I think the concentration of the product has been changed. I still have some of my previous bottle of Amber and Lavender left and the difference between that and the new bottle is quite noticeable.
