Joan of Arcadia: The First Season (DVD)

Season One and Two were both incredible! I hated that this show was cancelled.... it was an amazing ensemble cast and the storyline had everything... I've had my copies of these as soon as they were out so now I bought more for gifts. I want to share them with so many friends and family! LOL The prices are fantastic and that includes shipping costs.

Great television series! Wish it had lasted longer than 2 seasons.

I purchased this series because I really enjoyed this show while it was on the air. It only ran 2 seasons but could/should have gone longer. Glad to have season one and Wal-mart price was very competitive. I will probably pick up season 2 next. The site to store delivery was free and very convenient.

Joan of Arcadia is one of my favorite TV shows. I was disappointed when they cancelled it after only two seasons. I'm glad now, though, to own both seasons on DVD. This show is a family friendly one that has great story lines. I recommend this to everyone. The only downside I found wasn't with the series/disks themselves but in Walmart shipping. They sent these (and other orders in the past) in a bubble envelope. The envelopes don't protect the product during shipment. These arrived with smashed corners, which made it difficult to remove sleeves from box. A prior order the disk was scratched because the DVD box was smashed in the bubble envelope. Walmart needs to switch to mailing in boxes. If the price is right, I tend to order from companies that send their merchandise in boxes.

Loved this show. Shows God in the form of various people. He can only be seen as God by Joan. To others He is just another persin. HAve not picked up the dvd yet. Looking forward to seeing it again.
