I purchased the jockey boxer briefs and similar Mossy Oak boxer briefs to compare and see if the Jockey brand is worth the extra $2/pair. I think they are. Both are 90% polyester-10% Spandex and similar design, but the Jockey feels more supportive and more elastic somehow and I expect they will be slower to lose their elasticity and they have a keyhole fly. I'll keep the Mossy Oak briefs because they are probably worth the cost and I wouldn't have known they are slightly inferior to the Jockey briefs without the side by side comparison. I've been wearing Ex officio briefs but can no longer afford them since I retired. I always thought they were overpriced, but it was how I rewarded myself for each week that I went without tobacco until I was able to kick the habit.
I've purchased a nearly identical version of these Jockey boxer briefs in a pricey department store, and these are just as good for less than half the price. The only detectable differences are more color/design options in the department store version, and different fabric options. Given a choice, I'd buy these at Walmart, every time. If you're looking for support under gym shorts at the gym, grab these before they're gone. These Jockeys are way better quality and price than the McDavid support boxer briefs, too—I have both. Pro tip: Wash in cold water, and hang to air dry, rather than in clothes dryer—they'll last longer.
I am an old heavy grandma. I love and need: A high waist, non hurting elastic at waist, NO binding on my thighs it fits my fat belly AND still has the back butt area still reach to the waist the feel of soft "silk" , for undies with a man pouch, it makes this lady feel comfy Got it all with these undies. A lady I worked with clued me in on men's boxers, boy type undies. She was so right. They just make them better and more comfy. and that heavenly soft feel of Jockey material. For me, they are wonderful, just light enough to fit well under shorts or pants, hugs the body but does not hurt it. Heaven. Only downfall is if you like colors, I am plus size, so not much choice, but the black is wonderful for me
I tried micro fiber for the first time with this item. I was pleasantly surprised and very satisfied. It is a smooth and comfortable fit. It washes well and easily stored. I would recommend this product. I did feel it is a little pricey since it is microfiber and not cotton. However, I would and have purchased it again.
I've been buying jockey for years now and it looks like Walmart is phasing them out for some reason. Bummed. So I tried to stock up. Not sure where else jockey is sold
A great fitting pair. Material softness improved after a couple of washes. Jockey is a great brand known for years of quality. I would buy this product again!
Ordered for son satisfactory purchase apologies can't speak to sizing but seem to be close to true to size. No complaints re comfort. Teen boy hard to get info.
The men's small would be ok for a child but not for any adult man. My husband is very thin and he can't even bend over. He has never tried this brand before and not sure if he will order a medium to try .
I've been using Jockey for years, however, this order didn't match the photo. The length I received was shorter, only about 1/3 down my thigh instead of 1/2 way shown in the pic.
I had high hopes for the Jockey Boxer Briefs, but they didn't quite live up to the promise. The fabric feels a bit synthetic and less breathable than I expected for something labeled “moisture-wicking.” Instead of keeping cool and dry, they tend to trap heat during the day — especially in warmer weather or during workouts. The fit is also a little off; the waistband feels tight at first but loosens quickly after a few wears, and the legs tend to ride up more than they should. After a few washes, the material started to pill slightly, which was disappointing for a brand like Jockey that's usually so reliable. They're lightweight and the colors look nice, but overall, the comfort and performance aren't on par with other boxer briefs in the same price range.
