Jockey® Essentials Women's Tummy Smoothing Mid-Waist Boyshort, Sizes Small-3XL

Comparison: I had worn the Jockey "slipshorts" for years--- ever since having kids. Toddlers have a knack of lifting up your dress/skirt- or tugging them down. The slipshorts were great for modesty, weren't extra hot in the summer, %26 helped a bit with smoothing (not compressive though). But being only 5'3", they sometimes peeked out if I wore a slightly shorter skirt or dress. Was about to buy another slipshort, but saw these BOYSHORTS!!! Typically, my thighs are too juicy for boyshorts but these seemed to hit a little further down the thigh. LOVE these! They are the goldlocks of boyshorts/slipshorts. Definitely more compressive %26 smoothing than the Jockey Slipshorts. Perfect for my shorter dresses %26 skirts. It didn't squish out my thighs below the leg band--- but I don't wear bodycon dresses or skirts. I've had 2 C-sections %26 have a small pooch but thighs/butt are my marshmallow areas. I took a medium in both styles. Will probably wear the old slipshorts with long flowy dresses/skirts but switch to these boyshorts for everything else. Stats: 153 lbs, 5'3", pear shaped, 34D. Wear an 8 or medium usually.

Although condition and quality was amazing, I have chosen the wrong product on my end, but other than that, there was a mix up on my end as far as false picture fabric indicator. Furthermore the products that were purchased where in great condition, and a reasonable price!

I needed these to wear under a satin dress that showed every line and lump that I have. For the price, they did very well at smoothing out my abdomen and thighs. They were not restrictive; they were actually very comfortable. They stayed in place very well (no rolling up or down throughout the day). I would definitely buy these again!

Overall great. They are soft and run true to size. The only negative is the bottom of the legs roll up a bit and I have to pull them down once or twice per wear.

Item was a different version of what I already had that I did not realize when ordering. The bottom seam does not exist in the pair I had now. When I would sit or bend in this pair, they tighten into my thighs and were uncomfortable. The other style pair I have does not have a seem or tighten like that. Returning the second pair I purchased in hopes of finding the other style.

The legs ride up and the tummy band rolls down after a short while. I'm large petite, I ordered an XL according to the size chart and it was way off. I should have ordered down. But given the tendency for these shorts to roll down and/or up, I won't be reordering.

3.5 out of 5. It rolls down a bit at the waist, but not like other similar ones I've tried. My biggest gripe are the thighs, they do roll up. Overall, good quality and will keep using, but it does not smooth out on the thighs to keep them in place.

I was excited for.this product to wear under summer skirts. The legs roll afyer wearing it about an hour. the rolls rode up hurt your legs amd circulation. i threw them away.

This would not control anything, but especially not a tummy that needs it. Maybe only if you bought it 1 or 2 or 3 sizes smaller than you thought you were by the size chart. I guess this smooths things out, as would a regular slip. I am 5'2" and 130 lbs. 42"hips, 36"waist. Large is per the size chart but the legs ride right up underneath my jeggings. It was very easy to slip into and controlled NOTHING. Maybe it would smooth out panylines, but the bottom of the legs would still be visible. I think I would have to gain 20 lbs for it to do anything, but I think the legs would still ride up unless they were so tight as to be "cutting" into my thighs because they have no gripping material to keep them in place. BTW, my thighs are not skinny or even thin, and they do have cellulite. I guess the cellulite was smoothed out, but my tummy, hips and butt looked as big as ever. If you want a product that is totally comfortable and smooths things out but controls nothing, this is for you.

They roll down they roll up. Anyway they can roll they do. Maybe it's a wrong size I don't know but I did not like these at all.
