Joe Jr™ Soapstone Grill Accessory

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the soapstone for my Joe Jr and I absolutely love it! It's great for searing and because it's naturally non stick, it's even better for cooking seafood. Clean up is easier than cast iron. It's worth the investment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The soapstone is the one accessory you need when cooking fine items like fish. But don't let that stop you from making smash burgers. It also does a fantastic job searing steaks. Breakfast? Bacon and eggs are wonderful. Just a great accessory.

I bought this because I used to use a pink salt block years ago and wanted something that would work as well. The thing to remember is to get it up to temp for a good while so it's heat soaked. When prepped well, it makes a killer crust. The only recommendation is to set it on top of the grill grates to prevent it from breaking under weight.

Wasn't as smooth and flat as I was thinking it was going to be. There's a ledge of 0.040" where the surfacing machine gouged the surface. Other than that, soapstone works near perfectly

The packaging was great and it worked well right out of the box. The quality was awesome and I'm happy with how this accessory has expanded what I am able to do with the Joe Jr.

I use the soapstone for fish and delicate foods. It also makes a great pizza stone. It can handle the high heat for pizza and provides a nice crispy crust. It is easy to clean and is a great multi use cooking surface.

We have cooked Pizza on it, and made smash burgers, and have used it to do a double indirect set up. All in all a great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did a lot of research before purchasing a soapstone. I came to the conclusion that I'd try one. My first was for my big Joe. When I ordered my Joe Jr, I went immediately and bought the soapstone. I use it as the sear station, frying eggs. Heating tortillas is also a dream it is worth every penny

I only gave 1 star because there is not zero. I ordered my husbands Father's Day gift on 6/16/21 and as of today 8/1/21 still don't have it! Nothing. zero. The only communication I've had is my emails asking where it is and this survey. I know things are running longer but this is ridiculous.

I had another KJ soapstone that worked perfectly for samon. My KJ Jr stuck my salmon so much taht vlean if it was nearly impossible with a soft brush and warm soapy water. The surface was not as smooth as my other stone reason maybe damaged my food.
